Today was supposed to be special for my kids, as they start school tomorrow. I made haircut appointments for my 3 year old son and my 14 year old daughter, several weeks ahead of time. I had heard from a girl working at TJ-Maxx how great this place was, especially Jameson or Sean. Well, lucky for me, I got the new girl, Brittany. The picture on the left/ gray shirt, is after the haircut! (White shirt, before) This is a $25 haircut? She trimmed it up, barely. I literally had to sit and hold my son the entire time, and not because he was moving around. She didn’t brush us off. And any other haircut place I have ever been to, always uses a small trimmer around the ears and neckline. She didn’t do either and used shears instead. Which I thought was really odd. My daughter’s haircut was $45 and took about 45 minutes, just to cut off an inch of hair. I opted to skip the blow dry to cut back on time because we were waiting so long. I expressed my concerns to the front desk who offered to fix the cut for my son. Why would I want them to try and fix something that they couldn’t get right the first time? This is not a complicated hairstyle. Don’t make the same mistake I did and spend $70 of your extra-hard earned money on an upscale salon that cuts worse than a Great Clips ($90 once you include tip). Haircuts are usually a treat for us. Sadly, this was probably the worst.

Stylists I’ve seen at other salons always gave me a decent cut but would not usually style my hair the way I asked for it. Karen at Trendsetters not only gave me a great cut but styled it exactly the way I wanted it. She is awesome and I would recommend her to any one. Hairstyling

I showed up about a half an hour early for my appointment. I took a seat and after 15 minutes, no one said hello and no one acknowledged me and no one welcomed me. So I got up and left. Will not go back! They seriously need to learn the meaning of customer service not to mention at least common courtesy! Would not recommend in the slightest!

I love this salon! Melissa is my go to hair genius and everyone else there is super friendly, polite and just overall nice. The salon is well kept and stylish and has a fun atmosphere. I do recommend trying Trendsetters out if your haven’t already!
