Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went for the first time here to this nice hair salon. I haven’t had a haircut in over a year because of covid-19 and being afraid of being disappointed. My cousin reccomended me this hair salon and I am so glad that she did. Since her hairstylist was book until May I decided to give Brittany a chance and boy I am glad I did. She did a great job with my haircut. She definitely knows what she is doing. And she made sure I was happy with my haircut. She is now my hairstylist for good I made sure she knew that. her price isn’t bad at all. I told her she is my hairstylist and I am glad that I got my haircut by her. I haven’t felt so happy with a haircut in just a long time and I was so happy and I can’t stop staring at my hair now ☺️☺️ . Thanks Brittany see you soon for a retouch and some highlights ☺️☺️ !!!! I went for the first time here to this nice hair salon. I haven’t had a haircut in over a year because of covid-19 and being afraid of being disappointed. My cousin reccomended me this hair salon and I am so glad that she did. Since her hairstylist was book until May I decided to give Brittany a chance and boy I am glad I did. WONDERFUL place to get your hair done. People are super friendly and helpful to choose what haircut works best for you. And if u bring a photograph of a haircut u love they will do it! Cheryl did my hair. It came out great and she was super nice but the girl who I asked about pricing told me that it was different for each of them because they rent the chairs. I assumed when she walked away she was going to ask people for prices but instead she brought Cheryl up and I never got the price until after it was done. No offense to Cheryl she was great but I don’t for see me paying $45 for a hair cut again especially since it took maybe 15 minutes and she was balancing me and another customer which wasn’t a big deal until I heard the price.

This place is amazing! All staff are very friendly and personable. I used Gina for my stylist and she did an amazing job (I’m very picky). I also had threading done to my eyebrows by Sejal, which turned out much better than my own tweezing. While I sat in the lobby I watched her videos on their tv and decided to give it a try, which I’m glad I did. I will definitely go back for eyelash extensions! This place offers everything!

My first visit to Koko (African American) was very good! I have natural hair and received a color, wash, blow out, straightening and trim. It really came out great and I retained length. When I returned for my second visit about 4 weeks later I asked for a roller set, stylist rejected it under the guise of my hair wouldn’t be able to have a roller set and come out good. F.Y.I. before chemicals there was the roller set. I opted for a wash, blowout and straightening. The process was different, the stylist seemed irritated and rough with the straightening comb. It should be taken away from her. She didn’t detangle my hair properly causing breakage which she tried to openly blame me for so she could cut my hair again, approx 1/2 inch according to her. I came out of there with not enough hair to put into a ponytail, unevenly cut in the back. Basically chopped, she must have cut at least 2 or more inches off. I might add she tried to talk me into a Keratin treatment which is a chemical that takes away your natural curl pattern. No thanks! That Keratin treatment was more for her than for me. Koko- If you do not like to have customers who are natural with long hair because you lack the skills and patience, just say so. Now I have to grow all of my hair back. It barely touches my shoulders. NEVER will I refer anyone to this stylist. Naturalistas stay far, far away!!
