I have only been to this salon twice. My first experience went well. My hair was fairly long and I asked for it to be cut short to my shoulders. However, I had an appointment with the same hairdresser recently to simply get layers and a little bit of face framing. I trusted that my hair was going to turn out fine. I had even showed her some pictures of what exactly I wanted. As she was finishing up she asked me if I wanted it styled, to which I agreed. We decided to curl my hair. I wasn’t in love with my hair at the end of my appointment but I didn’t think it was too bad in the moment. As soon as I took a shower and my hair dried, I was horrified. I could see that my layers were cut very badly and my hair in the front was just a big chunk of straight cut hair. It looks like I have two totally different types of hair cuts on my head. A front view being a super short hair cut (like a bob) and the back view being weird layers. The hairdresser is very kind however she really messed up my hair. Unfortunately my birthday is coming up and I have no choice but to keep styling my hair “half-up-half-down” until it grows long enough to fix.

It was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back. The receptionist was warm and welcoming and though I was a new client, I felt very comfortable. Ashley H did a terrific job on my hair which hadn’t been cut in over a year and a half. I asked for long layers and I got exactly what I wanted and needed to update my style so I can actually wear it down instead of in a clip all the time.

Yesterday was my first time ever going to Trendsetters. I was paired up with Becca and I am very happy with the results! She knew what I wanted, studied the photo I brought carefully, and gave me the perfect haircut. She was very nice and knowledgeable. I was greeted right away upon entering and I got here a little early so I had no wait time. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back when my hair needs touch ups 🙂
