I have mixed feelings about this salon. My first experience which was with Tia was great. She did my silk press and my hair was laid, okay! My second experience not so much. I wanted a quick weave. I feel like I just settled for the hair style I had chosen because for one, it was already glued to my head and two I did not want to seem like I was trying to get out of paying. I feel like I was overcharged and my tracks were lifting after day two. I guess it’s a hit or miss…

I had an appointment with Michelle yesterday. I am very disturbed about my experience. When I arrived, she was on the phone and barely greeted me. I waited at least 10 minutes before she got to me. I requested a silk press thinking that is a shampoo and flat ironed. To my surprise after she was done, she said it was $60.00. I have never paid that much for a shampoo and flat ironed. But I went ahead and paid it. Checking my receipt the next morning, my card was charged $67.00. I called the next morning and spoke to the manager. I was wondering why I was charged so much for my service. She said it was because I’m a natural. My hair is HIGHLY manageable and and did not need any special effects when it comes to straightening my hair. I know I requested a silk press but I was thinking that was a shampoo and flat ironed. As a stylist, I feel that she could have assessed that and charged me for a shampoo and style, not a silk press. She also neglected to inform me that there was a $2 fee to use my card, so I’m still wondering where the $5 came in. She told me $60! I’m really just floored. I just moved to the area about 8 months ago and I’ve been trying to find a salon. I thought this would be the one since I am 5 mins away but I am very displeased. I will not be returning for future services.

So i needed my hair done as all us women do…i called and Tia answered and I said my name is Erin and do you take walk ins and she replied yes and I said I’m on thee way 15min…time in and out under an hour and when I say she did an amazing job on my hair is an understatement! I didn’t have to say a word she just new what to do and how my hair needed to be styled…thats what you call a grreat knowledgeable hairdresser! I been passing this place for 3 years since they have been there and I must say I have been missing out!! Oh i got the silk press by the way! I would give way more then 5stars but that’s the max! Happy New customer!!

Had an appointment with them at 10 no one ever showed and went in and spoke to two women and she said she would do my hair on Monday took my number didn’t even have the courtesy to call me and say they weren’t going to make it the man in the barbershop called the girl she didn’t even respond I am so glad I didn’t go there I went to the Hair Spa on Beverly Rancocas Road what a wonderful experience if you want your hair done please go there they made me feel real friendly they were professional and I got my hair done and it looks wonderful
