I will start by saying I’m not super knowledgeable in the hair/beauty realm but I think I know enough to review my service. My stylist was super helpful with product suggestions and was fun to chat with. She gave me lots of good advice and knew her stuff. I spent 90 minutes at the salon. In that time I got a shampoo, blow dry, cut, and style which were all part of the service. My stylist used a round brush and blow dryer to dry my hair which is pretty standard. I know I have a sensitive scalp so I try not to complain too much, but this was just plain painful. I felt like I was going to throw up. Like I almost tapped out of the blow drying, and I’ve had hairdressers dry my hair and do blowouts before so I know I can handle it. It’s never been even the slightest bit uncomfortable except the odd brush stroke before. I mentioned twice that it was hurting me and the response was ‘ oh, it must be my brush.” There was no offer to change the technique or tool used and I am timid with this stuff (people pleasers, I see you) so I know I should have suggested a change and didn’t. I’ll own that. But when you’re the professional providing a service and your client tells you it hurts twice in one sitting, you should be accomodating that need. So that was super rough already. She also put so much mousse in my hair that I literally couldn’t run my fingers through it when she told me to do so to check the length and make sure I was happy with the health at my ends. I literally couldn’t even brush through it later that evening. My forearm gave out before my brush could even get to my scalp. My hair felt waxy and terrible and my brush was caked in product after one use. I also requested face framing pieces and layers which we discussed through the service and I walked out with a blunt cut. Like straight across, uniform length all around my head. I looked for layers for 2 days and couldn’t find them. Maybe I’m bad at finding the layers but I believe I went in for a cut with some layers and face framing pieces and did not receive them despite discussing them in the last half hour of the appointment. In fact, I was asked if I wanted them and I said yes, we discussed how much length to change, and then I assumed they would get cut but I cannot locate any changes in the front or other sections of my hair. I walked out with a good looking hairstyle and it was curled so I couldn’t notice the issue right away. I will not go back, even to get the haircut I requested because it was so painful and I’m just upset. I’d rather pay someone else full price to fix this because I’m just annoyed. I felt disappointed in the service I received and would not recommend this salon.

This salon is amazing! Evelyn is just the best. Makes your experience the best you can imagine. Ive gone to many salons and hair stylist and never cared to always see the same person, never cared who did my hair until Evelyn did mine for the first time. Now she is the only person I will allow to touch my hair and cannot wait to get some nail work and possibly permanent cosmetics as well 🙂

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI have been here for two years in Arkansas and I have not had my hair cut done right or color .I been trying different places .Well I came here yesterday to Tramps and met with Evie and I am so thrilled with the way my hair came out .The cut and style was awesome .she also colored it and got me back to looking like my normal hair color .I cant say nothing but kind things about her and the salon .She really spent a lot of time to detail and explained everything before she did it . I have been here for two years in Arkansas and I have not had my hair cut done right or color .I been trying different places .Well I came here yesterday to Tramps and met with Evie and I am so thrilled with the way my hair came out .The cut and style was awesome .she also colored it and got me back to looking like my normal hair color .I cant say nothing but kind things about her and the salon .She really spent a lot of time to detail and explained everything before she did it . I have struggled for YEARS with patchy thin eyebrows and she has literally made such a difference. Not only did I get them permanently done but she offered a service where i could essentially “test drive” some eyebrows for about a month before getting them permanently done. When I tell you her level of professionalism and knowledge of what she is doing is out of this world, it is not an understatement. I came to Ms Evelyn Vetter to get help with my eyebrows. I have struggled for YEARS with patchy thin eyebrows and she has literally made such a difference. Not only did I get them permanently done but she offered a service where i could essentially “test drive” some eyebrows for about a month before getting them permanently done. I went in for a haircut and color for my daughter’s wedding. It has been a terrible experience. I was told I was getting the best girl in the shop. She cut my hair and it look like a pyramid. So she said I could come back in and the cut is still lopsided long pieces in places short pieces in others. I will have to go and seek out another stylist at another place, afraid to go back there. And in the meantime my hair is getting shorter and shorter!

Tramps Salon & Spa is amazing! It is such a fun, welcoming, comfortable, & classy environment. All of the staff make extra effort to make their guests feel at home and extra special. Their scalp massages are EXTRAORDINARY! I would go there everyday just to get my hair washed and styled! The steam room & massage is amazing! I feel extra pampered every time I go in there.
