Yesterday I called Traditional Massage Therapy and the owner answered the phone. I was in pain and she said she could get me in for an hour at $60 right away. I was delighted! I drove 20 minutes to get there for my scheduled 4:15pm appointment. But when I arrived, the woman announced that she had taken another appointment for an hour, so she only had a half hour left to squeeze me in at $40. So she works less time and gets more per minute! More important, she did not honor a prior appointment. So. She gave me less time, wanted to charge me more per minute, and didn’t even have the courtesy to call and ask me if any of this would be ok. She just announced it to me upon arrival — without so much as an apology. I walked out! Then I drove another 20 minutes to get to someone who would actually give me the hour massage I wanted. This woman has some nerve! And she owes me for my time and gas.

I read Eleanor Bancroft’s review and déjà vu! Eleanor showed up for her scheduled 4:15pm appointment. She was on time. So was I. In her response, the owner is trying to make it sound as it Eleanor took “longer to get to the shop than she expected.” That’s ridiculous. Eleanor arrived for an agree upon 4:15pm appointment. I was also on time for an hour massage and was told that I could only have a half an hour once I arrived. Also, I was never offered an hour massage if I waited around a bit longer, and I’ll bet Eleanor wasn’t either. In fact, I was told the shop was closing at a certain time and that it wasn’t possible to fit me in for an hour massage that night. I drove half an hour to get there, too! Your time is valuable? Well so is ours.

Had sciatic pain in my lower back and right leg. Called them and they were able to get me in on short notice. Facility was clean, the massage therapist was pleasent and professional. It was my first experience with hot stones, and they really made a difference on my back. I will be returning. Thank you for your efforts.

Even tho I was in pain the whole time I was able to move around some better when I went home. it was an awesome massage I just know I need to make this a weekly thing so I can feel better.
