Drove around whittier looking for a good barber shop. I found some places that were sketchy, some that were super expensive ($45 + tip), and some that were ok. Finally I found an awesome barber shop they, for the most part go from appts so call ahead and schedule an appt. The first American Barber shop I ever visited and I am satisfied. I have lost significant amount of hair over recent five years and it is true that there are not much style choices I have. The Barber I met here was very friendly and cut my hair almost exactly I wanted; all I said was short, but covers the emptiness. The price is higher than the salon I used to go, but it is worth. I recommend this place if you are around La Mirada.

Angie has been cutting my hair for about 6 years now and in-the four years she’s been at traditions barbershop it’s always a great experience, I am very loyal to my barber and I have never gone elsewhere to get my haircut or my sons but On the rare occasion that Angie is unavailable for me or I really can’t wait to get a haircut I trust all the other barbers there Art the owner is a really great guy and is a well-crafted Barber I can see why he has a loyal following of barbers. Carlos and Oscar are some cool dudes and they I have also cut my hair and I’ve had no complaint, I would recommend them any day and I would have to say once Angie cuts your hair you’ll definitely be sitting in her chair for your next cut, she’s cut quite a few of my family’s haircuts including my mom and everybody just raves about her. I have been going to Traditions barbershop for about 4 years, I followed my barber Angie there from the previous shop she was at and I am happy she landed up at traditions barbershop. These guys provide great customer service with a friendly atmosphere. My boy and I have never had a bad cut from here. They do walk in and appointments, which are easy to make online. I highly recommend these guys.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had to take my kid to a different barber to fix what this guy at Tradition barber shop did. My wife wasn’t paying attention because she had the baby with her and didn’t notice what a horrible job this guy did.
