I have been seeing Tracy and Josie for years. They are the only 2 people I let touch my hair. They give me tricks and tips to help me take care of my hair. They always are honest with me about my hair, whether or not I’m cutting it or dying it. I always feel like family when I am there. The prices are the best in town! I highly reccomend this salon! I will keep coming here for years to come!

Tracy the owner has been cutting my hair for years! I even moved to the UP and waited to get my hair cut till I was down for the weekend. My husband goes there for his hair cuts as well. Prices are lower than any place in town, I have had Josie cut my hair too and she is great as well. I have had cuts, colors, perms, and eyebrow waxing done here and will keep going back.

I will never go back. I asked the hairdresser to cut off my dead ends and she spent maybe 5-7 minutes at my hair. She just chopped away and didn’t really measure very well.

I’m not the bride but I was apart of the bridal party we went and got our hair done here. Service was great. The Bridesmaids hair looked beautiful, but the brides hair looked bad it was falling out half way through the ceremony and didn’t look anything like the picture she showed her. The bride also got her make up done and it looked like a little kid did it, she had to hurry and fix her make up by herself when she got to the house. I highly don’t recommend getting your make up or hair done here.

I went in for a”trim” of an inch or two. The guy cutting my hair was to busy talking to someone else and and not paying attention to what he was doing. He ended up cutting off 5 to 6 inches. He never showed me a mirror or I would never have paid for such a lousy lopsided haircut. One side is a quarter inch shorter than the other. The sad part is I was growing it for wigs for kids. And all I needed was a little trim. Major setback for my plan. I don’t use harsh products so don’t say I may have needed that much off. Very disappointed in your salon. I will NEVER go there again even though I’ve used them for years. And now my hair is a lot shorter and lopsided. Great job. NOT!!!

My head was man handled, my ears were caught by the trimmers multiple times, my hair was PULLED by Tracy, the OWNER. Never have I ever been handled so poorly at a hair salon. Would not recommend, I am not going back.

First off, the owner, Tracy, is by far the worst at cutting mens hair. She acts like she’s above cutting hair, rushes through it, and sends you along. The rest of the ladies are okay but i find often their sheers aren’t cleaned off before they start cutting my hair. I used to use this salon but I have started just getting my hair cut outside of big rapids

Stylist stepped out to have a smoke, too cold to stand outside so she stood in the doorway. All that smoke came right in with the cold air. Salon is very dirty. Stylist pulled a CHUNK of hair out! Felt like my head was being beaten as she combed and brushed my hair.
