I recently moved to Kauai. Within a week of living here, I had a healing massage by Katharina. It is one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Much more than a massage, it was in essence, an incredible healing & initiation to the island (in her words). My shoulder was knotted up on & off these last few months. It started to melt & restore itself within hours of the massage. The day after, I can still feel the healing continue. She started & ended the massage with beautiful flute playing as Hawaiian chants played throughout the session. I am a healer myself & it was meaningful to allow someone else to nurture me. I’m touched by Katharina’s kindness, deep respect & connection to the Hawaiian culture. I intend to grow similar roots here. I highly recommend Touch Kauai for a healing & restorative experience with compassion & skill in the Hawaiian tradition.

Traveling to Kauai alone, and for the purpose of self-reflection and growth was a new and somewhat nerve-racking leap of faith for me. I cannot express how much that leap of faith was rewarded over and over during an absolutely life-changing 6 days with Katharina and Enrico. Not only did I get to experience the natural magic of Kauai in a deeply emotional and spiritual way– hiking, swimming and exploring– but the personal growth, love, trust and sheer awe at the universe both around and within myself was nothing short of life changing. I consider myself very scientifically minded, very rationalist… and someone skeptical toward the more “spiritual” or “mystical” connections of life. However, I can say with all sincerity that this guided trip with the lovely K & E opened me to a new and wonderful universe. The experiences in guided meditation, massage, hiking, and simply talking are moments I will continue to remember, and are tools I treasure and utilize in my daily life. This was the greatest gift from them (and from myself!) and it is utterly priceless. In all the many visits I have made to Hawaii over the past 30 years, I have never been touched by the spirit of Hawaii as I am in the presence of Katharina. She has in incredible respect for the Hawaiian traditions and her knowledge and understanding of the Aloha spirit touches my heart and soul. From the moment I enter her atrium, I feel connected to the magic of the island of KaIuai. There are many gifted healers on Kauai, but Katharina’s healing touch and tender spirit are not to be missed. I go there a few times a year and always begin my time on the island with her magical massage.
