Critical: Professionalism, QualityVery disappointing salon visit today. Have seen jameson the owner twice before for partial blonde highlights and had good results. They were light ash blonde which takes skill as my hair can pull gold if not done properly. Well yesterday i had my usual partial/crown highlights done and they turned out gold/brassy. He told me he is using a new brand of color and i even questioned if he left the foils on long enough and why he didnt tone my hair after. Anyway, its brassy and even has gold blotches near the side part area. The other couple visits had good results so i didnt say much when i left thinking it was the lighting? Called today he said come in to fix it. As im sitting in the chair showing him the gold highlights and bleach blotches near my side part he tries to say all my underneath hair is gold as if excusing the ugly highlights (its not, it a dark blonde 6 or 7).Well newsflash, people pay to NOT have their highlights brassy/blotchy. So i said if you cant fix it i could go to another salon and he said and i quote “i would prefer that”.Needless to say i am shocked at the unprofessionalism and immaturity of a salon owner. Especially being a fairly regular client. So now i get to spend the holiday weekend with brassy blotchy highlights and have to pay for a color correction at another salon. Very disappointing salon visit today. Have seen jameson the owner twice before for partial blonde highlights and had good results. He was so friendly and professional and did an amazing job on my hair. I will definitely be going to see him anytime I’m here visiting.Service: Hairstyling
