I like that this place sticks to appt times! They do accept walkins depending on how busy they are. I had an appointment here @6 pm (mind you, I come here all the time) I already had acrylics from 2 weeks ago, I got to my appointment 10 mins early, when the lady calls me over at exactly 6 pm she starts filing the acrylic off, and then tells me that she’s going to try to file it as much as she can because soaking it in nail polish remover was going to take to long, I explained to her that I had already taken 3 nails off so it’s going to look different, and she then told me that it’s going to take to long to soak it, I told her it’s 6:09 you close at 7pm…? I am currently in the parking lot writing this review with my nails not even half way done. As you can tell on the photo I had already taken my index and pinky nails off so filing it down wasnt going to match my other nails. I simply told the lady to just leave it like that and to forget it. It’s just a shame because I always over-tip, and I’ve been going there for years. Deff my last time there!

So I came in to have one nail fixed because it broke not their fault but that’s not the issue. So the guy in the pictures below politely filed away the gel nail polish, I asked him if they do nex Gen Dip . Due to the language barrier he did not understand, I asked him 4 x then he finally said yes we do, on natural nails. I asked if he could add a tip to make the nail longer and use the Dip Solution instead of Acrylic he said yes . After the Gel was off of my finger nail , I asked him to see the colors for the dip . He said we don’t do dip on tips . I asked him if I could speak with someone else that understands English better and he got offended and told me the store was closed . I asked the guy next to him if he understood English good and the guy in the pic doing my nails said something to him and Vietnamese and the other guy didn’t even answer me and continued to look in the opposite direction. The guy that was doing my nails got up and walked half way to the back and said we are closed . I asked him if he was closed or he didn’t want to do my nails ? He said both and walked away and sent me out with 1 nail missing even though I barely had them done in LOs Angeles less than a week ago. So yeah, go here if you want your time wasted . Go Here is you want to be treated unfairly. Go here if you want to receive horrible service. Go here if you have zero respect for yourself . Go here if you want to take the chance of leaving without your nails done or with your nails messed up . Go here ! G Smile Nails will ruin your supposed relaxed girl time and send u out unhappy and disgusted .

I walked in on a Sunday, picked my color and waited 5-10 minutes. JJ did my gel manicure on my natural nails. It was inexpensive, clean, and very precise. On my second coat of color I accidentally jabbed my thumb onto the UV light machine and JJ fixed it. This all took less than an hour. I’m very satisfied with the nails I got today. They were evenly coated and I received exceptional service.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I went in for a gel polish pedicure. Showed the worker the picture of what I wanted. She proceeded to do the pedicure. When it was time for the color portion I noticed it was not the color I showed them. She then proceeded to tell me they don’t have that color I want. I then said why didn’t you let me know that before the pedicure started? She laughed in my face and shrugged her shoulders. I chose another color that would fit my skin tone, which she then tells me wouldn’t work with the French pedicure I wanted. I told her I am choosing the color I want. She decided to walk away no apology or explanation. The owner ended up finishing the color. I did not get an apology or the pedicure I requested. This place will never get my business again.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon before these new owners took over. I got my nails done exactly a week ago, the service I received was dip powder. Now we are here a week later and I now have fungus growing. I have never had any type of nail fungus before. This was the first time JJ’s wife (Sammy)had done my nails because JJ to me seems to be losing his touch, or just plain rushing. Which I can’t accept especially if prices are increasing. I went back to have them take off the powder and just have clear on my nails (now that I have to go to the doctor). He wouldn’t let me walk out of the salon until I paid and told me if I don’t pay he will have to take off the clear polish. Not only that, they gave no regard to the fungus at all. No apology, no reimbursement, just didn’t acknowledge what they caused. Which is suspicious to me. After about 10 years I will not be back to this establishment. The customer service is just plain horrible. I was a loyal customer for over 10 years and for this situation to happen and be treated with such disregard is disgusting.
