Fubny how the employees tell you that it’s a “law” to have to buy products and then get upset when you don’t. They treat you horrible, then when you tell them you are cancelling the contract within the 3 days given by MN law, they refuse to do so, but tell you they will help you out and not charge after. Marissa and Ava are the BEST! Came in looking to tan before vacation and they were eager to answer all of my questions and even offered to show me around! Was surprised by the pricing- $30 cheaper per month than $5 Tan and Palm Beach and Totally Tan has way newer and nicer beds than both of those salons. The salon is super well kept and I’m pretty sure it’s under new management. Ava, the new manager, was super lively and educating me on the importance of lotions and helped me find one that was safe for my skin type and affordable! Marissa, the assistant manager, gave me great bed suggestions to get the quickest and safest results. They also offer red light therapy which my doctor suggested to me but I could never find a place to do it affordably, but they have red light included in their packages! They even let your friends tan for free!!! I will 100% come back for every vacation!!!! These girls are the pros

I’ve gone to competitor salons and I feel like I get the same tan as I did there without the cost the others charge for monthly unlimited. staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about products. wish it wasn’t so spendy to be tan and use good lotions. unfortunately with tanning and lotions, ya get what you pay for! fingers crossed they expand to more locations! i like to say if ya can’t tone it, tan it. 😛

Awful. Went in today, asked for 6 minutes in a level 4 bed. I paid 20 dollars and went in the bed. It seemed like it was taking to long so I eventually turned off the bed and got out. I asked the woman how long she set my bed and she said 12 minutes… the max! Obviously I was extremely pale and hadn’t tanned for a while, the reason I requested 6 minutes! She looked at me and said oh I’m so sorry I feel bad. Well your bad feelings are not going to take my burn away or the damage that was caused to my skin. I will never go back and recommend you find somewhere else to go. They didn’t even offer me a reimbursement or a packet of lotion just a bs apology.. Just wrong.

I’ve been tanning at TT for 9 years and I’ve never experienced rude service until the other week. Courtney was probably one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I brought my husband in, who has never been there before, and told him how the staff is always so nice and telling him about the girl who helped me last time I was in etc etc. Courtney was rude from the minute we walked in, she spoke to us as if we were completely incompetent and at multiple points when I would speak to her she would roll her eyes, turn away and start talking to someone else. It was very frustrating and my husband who is the most laid back person, never takes notice to things like that- kept looking over at me in disbelief. We were literally paying over $100 and the way she spoke to us was kind of like she didn’t want our business? The attitude was so bad that people sitting in the waiting area were making eye contact with me and shaking their heads. After I left to go to my room she told my husband he could only tan for 10 minutes and NEVER EVEN SHOWED HIM HOW TO USE THE BED- “just go in and press the button.” Really?? When we left I apologized to him and said I’ve never had that Happen before and he said “I’ve never paid $100 just to get b***ched at.” If we weren’t going out of town the next day, I would have walked out and gone to a different salon. Definitely will never be back to this location… pretty sad.

A few bulbs were out on a new level five bed for over two weeks. I repeatedly told the staff. They charge a one time $10 “facility fee” on top of the $81.93 I paid per month for the membership. I thought that’s why there were memberships. I went to tan and cancel my membership to be told I couldn’t tan that day since I cancelled. I then called corporate to see where my prorated refund was. The person was kind, but said she couldn’t offer a proration, that she would have someone get in touch with me. She offered to give me a free service, but I cancelled my membership for a reason. Oh, and when you do cancel, there is a box that you check where you promise to have funds in your account in case a mistake happens and Totally Tan takes the money out of your account the following month after cancelation. Too many things seem off, shady and unprofessional. Tanning: first world issue. Instead of using TT, I suggest using the sun. It’s free.

I’ve never been tanning before and the staff was super nice and helpful! I recommend the stand up beds for a more even tan. The place looks really nice and clean. I’ll for sure keep coming back!
