I decided to have Wendy cut my hair. I have heard only good things from family and friends about the work she does. She is a very happy lady and she does great haircuts. I left feeling great. From cutting my own hair and having a receding hairline I decided to give a professional a chance at making me look like a new man! I decided to have Wendy cut my hair. I have heard only good things from family and friends about the work she does. She is a very happy lady and she does great haircuts. I left feeling great. I love walking into this salon! They all have their own personal space which makes you able to have more a more personal experience with your stylist. All the girls in there do a wonderful job and are so friendly. I live 2,500 miles away and can’t wait to fly home to go to Total E’ clips to see Alicia and have her work hair magic on me!

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI decided to try someone in Smithfield do my hair. On Friday of last week. It was a bad idea. I had two very specific pictures of what I wanted and a very clear idea of what I did not want. Well, after Wendy spent some time on the phone with her husband and played with her hair she then told me that I couldn’t have the colors I wanted, which were dark purple ends and dark top but specifically not orangey at all, she decided to do my hair in blonde and red highlights starting about half way down my head. I have no idea why she chose those colors. I wish I could have known what she was doing with the colors. I would have escaped while she was doing someone else’s hair in the middle of my appointment. But I now have orangey hair that is already fading and rinsing out. I also showed her a very specific cut that I wanted with layered hair with straight bangs. I ended up with no bangs and the only layers I have are around my face. I am so sad that I spent $75+14tip=$89 bucks to get exactly what I specifically did not want. I shouldn’t have tipped but was too upset and not thinking clearly. It was a weird experience. It was almost like I wasn’t really there but was just a mannequin head who she didn’t care to hear speaking.
