I love the decor of this place with artwork by local (I think) artists. It’s a nice touch. Riva was my stylist and she did an amazing job with my curly hair-not many people have the skills for that! I’ve gotten tons of compliments and love the cut, color, and style.

I’ve been going here for years now, and I still love my hairstylist Paul. Having said that, they switched over from online booking (which was great and I never had an issue with) to having to call in to book an appointment. I’m honestly not sure why they did away with online booking (it coincided with the pandemic), but it’s really inconvenient: It can take time to get through to the receptionist, then more time for her to go through the stylist’s calendar and start calling out available times and twice now they’ve completely messed up my appointment. 30 minutes prior to my appointment time today they let me know they’d made a mistake and Paul wasn’t even in today. That really sucks because I took off the whole morning for a much needed hair cut. This is the 2nd time they’ve made a mistake in booking. I just really wish they’d go back to online booking! Again, my stylist is great, and so are many of the other stylists there.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI made an appointment with Riva just to trim my hair. I came in and took the time to explain to her what I wanted and showed her pictures. She didn’t listen to anything I had to say and I’m not sure if she usually cuts men’s hair but it feels and looks like she has no idea what she is doing. She bumped my eyebrow piercing twice and shaved my head. Monica is the absolute best stylist for cutting wavy and curly hair. She’s a wonderful listener, and I always get the results that I want. Seriously, it has been a struggle to find someone for most of my life that understood my hair texture. I’ve been going to her for about 5 years and it has always been wonderful ! Color services are great as well

The worst customer service! I came to this salon based on customer feedback. Had a hair appointment for just a haircut. With the stylist I was set with her fee of $65 included a wash and style. After she trimmed my hair she didn’t feel my hair needed to be washed and styled. My hair is very short so my appointment lasted no more than 45 minutes. That includes her running the flat iron throughout my hair just to “smooth” it out. Based on the fact I was not given the full haircut service I shouldn’t have been charged $65.00. Left several messages with Samantha at the front desk and still ZERO follow up. Called again today and still haven’t heard from Hannah (Salon Manager). Will never give this salon business again. Stay away. Austin offers many salons in town with outstanding customer service and fair prices for the work they actually do!

I love when I come here to get my hair done. I got to Julia H and she is awesome. My hair always looks great after she cuts and styles it and it grows out nicely. The receptionists are always friendly, and they have mimosas on Saturday!

Jamie Grove is the best of the best! I’ve never had a hairdresser that I trust completely, but Jamie has never failed me. Matter of fact, I always leave MORE pleased than what I was even expecting! Her ombre skills are killer. And, she’s so in tune with changing her cutting and coloring techniques for each person’s hair type and texture.

If you’re looking for someone who can cut curly hair, Cara is your girl! My hair has never looked and felt better. Ashley did a wonderful job coloring. Perfect shade of blonde! Both of these ladies are awesome!
