They were a lot of people there, but we literally did not wait at all. We were greeted kindly. Usually I feel uncomfortable in barbershops, but this one was pretty friendly. It was also clean and has a clean classic decor with a pool table in middle. I let the barber, Jerry, know exactly what I wanted for my son’s haircut and he did an amazing job. My son has difficult hair and it hasn’t always been easy to find someone to cut his hair right, but these guys did an amazing job. We will definitely be returning. Also forgot to mention that my boyfriend got his haircut an hour before my son did, and I loved his haircut so much that I took our son in. I think someone named Noah cut his hair.

Top Tier Barber Shop is phenomenal. Randy is my go to guy for my haircuts. Appointments are recommended, however for some reason I always manage to be “chaired” within 5 to 10 minutes after I arrive. This business is a high volume establishment, thus the appointment is recommended. Their prices are within the industry standard.

Critical: ProfessionalismI read the reviews before going here. The reviews for haircuts seemed to be good, but the customer service and ability to greet walk-ins was poor. My experience was exactly that. No one greeted me or stated there may be appointments ahead of me. While waiting 3 random people walked in and they started on one of them immediately. Cool if they had an appointment, but not cool how the barber greeted them. They still never told me anything about appointments ahead of me or where I was in line. If you aren’t going to provide quality customer service to walk-ins in a timely manner then you should remove the sign on the curb. Please greet your customers and provide timely service. I’m new to ABQ and I tried this place because of the good reviews. Definitely deserves them. I made an appointment for a Wednesday but it was not needed. But I’d recommend one if you want to show up late in the day, as they might not be able to squeeze in a walk-in near closing time. Just call their number.
