Horrible! I wish I could give zero stars. I went here three times, the first time was alright but I noticed the place smelled bad and they only took walk ins which I thought was bizarre but the lady did good work so I went back. Since they only took talk ins I could not get the first person I had and the second girl was ok but when I asked for a nail design and showed her a photo she did something completely different that I did not want. I ignored all those issues and went back a third time and what a mistake that was. When the tech was taking off my nail polish for a fill I noticed my index finger nail was lifting so I asked if she thought it should be replaced. She agreed and proceeded to rip off the acrylic nail (which is a huge no no) and I turn ripped off part of my natural nail. It was bleeding everywhere and extremely painful and she didn’t even care. She proceeded to put new acrylic over the open wound and at that point until her to stop because that is completely unsanitary. I was literally in tears from the pain and the thought of getting an infection and she called over the manager (though she seemed very irritated). I explained my situation to the manager and she and the girl talked about me and the manager said it would be and you come back in a few days to fix it. At that point I was just done so I asked them to just cut down my nails and I let them know I wanted to leave. After this who debacle they still charged me FULL PRICE for the service even though they hacked my hands up. I decided to remove my nails about a week later and sure enough that infection I feared would happen is present right where the girl ripped my nail off. Do yourself a favor and go to another nail salon, literally any place has got to be better than this.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueSam does a really great job! I drive all the way from Bedford Heights just to see him so you know he’s good! I get them done every two weeks but they do last longer than that! My nails don’t break, my gel polish last forever and don’t chip nor looks dull or have any bubbles in it! I went on sept 9 for a pedicure and acrylic nails. The girl didn’t speak English, I kept telling her she was hurting me, cut me under my right thumb and wiped with alcohol and I told her it was burning!! She just smiley.

Never disappointed with Top Star Nails. I get a gel mani and regular pedi every time, not often enough. Its a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and my nails always look spectacular afterwards.

The worse nail salon I ever been too. This place is nasty and the staff is so unprofessional. I translated the conversation they had and it was discussing the things they said about their customer’s. It was so bad I walked out and will never return. Not to mention the pedicure bowls are nasty, and their stations are unkept. The health department needs to shut them down.

Had an appt for two of us to get mani/pedis together but that didn’t happen. Not the experience we were hoping for. I had an older women who was not very pleasant. I posted a pic, she cut me once and was very rough and cuticles look really bad. The polish doesn’t look that good either. It was a waste of $50 + tip and my friend and I got to look at each other from across the room. Go somewhere else.

Competitive pricing for the area. They have better service and equipment than the salon around the corner. They are walk in only but at 5-6 pm on a Tuesday there was little to no wait. They prefer cash payments so a stop at an ATM before would be a good idea. As someone fairly new to the world of manicures and pedicures I was comfortable and didn’t feel rushed.
