I called and spoke to someone at Top O’ the Head to ask if they still offered old school straight razor shaves with hot towel, etc. and was told that yes, a guy named Mike does that and it would be $15. So, I send my husband and his winter beard in for a nice shave as a treat and all Mike did was trim his beard down using a trimmer. He was told after Mike had already taken three swipes with the trimmer that they no longer offer that service, even though I had been told the previous day that they did. So, my husband paid $5 for something he could have done at home. Bless his heart, he even tipped Mike $2! Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed in the service we received from Top O’ the Head and would most definitely not recommend them.
