I have had my nails done at various salons for years and this was by far my worst experience ever! Asked for pink and white acrylic fill got white paint over pink acrylic. She cut me twice and it took over two hours just for my nails. I did get a mediocre pedicure too but it cost $116.00. Worth the wait to go to a better place. Should have known when all the chairs were empty.

This was honestly the worst job I have ever received on my nails. I went in there with two nails that needed repaired and he did not put a new tip on either one of them just a little bit of acrylic so now on both of my hands I have nails on for Nails and both of my pointing fingers are as short as my finger it looks absolutely ridiculous and I cannot believe I even had to pay for this terrible job. Whatever you do do not go there I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and have never ever had them look so bad

Went in to get a full set of acrylic nails, work was sloppy, acrylic was applied very thin and watery. Lots of product was left on my fingertips that I had to file off. Nails were so thin, they BENT and one broke. When I returned to have them repaired, the man who did my nails was very rude, offended that I questioned his work, and refused to fix the other 8 digits that were not broken or bent yet. I paid $50 for the poorest quality of work. Buy Lee press on nails before you go here!

If zero stars were an option, that is what I’d give. My visit today was a disaster. I went in for a pedicure & manicure. Upon arrival, I was seated immediately in a spa chair as if they were ready for me. I was not informed that there would be a wait, that there were only two employees working, on a friday of a 3 day weekend, no less! There were only two other customers when I arrived. I waited nearly 40 minutes. At least 6 people were turned away. I ended up cancelling the manicure. After my feet dried, I leaned down to remove toe seperators & my nails look like a 3 yr old painted them & there is polish on my skin. And my husband & I are going out of town to celebrate our 40th anniversary. grrr!!

Please don’t go here. Spend your money on a salon that is worth your money. My husband brought me to this salon last night, we didn’t look at any reviews before we went, and I wish we had! My nail technician was unorganized and even called her boss to ask a question about the power used to dip nails. She couldn’t get it to work so I went with the Shellac. One of my nails was shorter then most so she put a tip on it, but she didn’t do that right either because my tip ripped halfway off this afternoon (less than 24 hours after being applied). I’ve never had a tip rip off before, and I wasn’t extra hard on my hands today, I was actually being careful. I’ll never go back.

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and stopped in here for a quick pedi last weekend. Not only am I 100% positive they have people working that are NOT licensed they give horrible quality pedicures! They put four coats on my toes and never were fully dried. The woman who worked on me was extremely sweet but don’t waste your time!! Wait for somewhere decent.

On February 20, 2017 my daughter and I stumbled upon Top Nails & Tanning in Valley West Mall. We were greeted right away and were able to get in without and appointment. While we were getting our nails done, my 19 year old daughter have a medical emergency. The Top Nails &Tanning employees called 911 stayed with us providing outstanding care to both of us. One of the employees waited outside for the ambulance and directed them to us. I will be forever grateful for Top Nails & Tanning!

I would not recommend this place at all. It started out by me calling for an appointment. The guy answering the phone did not speak very good English (if any) and keep telling me they were open, I had to keep telling him I wanted an appointment for later in the day. Once I hung up I still was not sure if I had an appointment or not. I did get in when I wanted to but now wish he had messed the appointment up… It would have saved me a lot of time and money for the worst job ever. All I wanted was a simple manicure and pedicure. It took an hour and forty-five min’s and I left with 2 very sore toes from where he keep digging at my cuticles, my nails were way to short, and he keep asking me what color I wanted on my hands. I had to tell him at least 4 times I could not have polish on my hands because of my job. Oh and lets not forget the phone call. I was told the phone call was for me which did not make sense to begin with, but I took it and it was someone wanted to make an appointment!! Finally I was told I was all done and I asked if my toes nails were dry enough to put my shoes back on. He said yes and smeared something on them… Oil maybe?? I got home and when I took my shoes of my socks were stuck to my toes. It was a mess and of course my pedicure was a ruined! If I lived in Des Moines I would have went back and demanded my money back!
