Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueMade a short notice appointment and got right in. I wanted to have my dipped nails removed and just have a gel polish. I told him I didn’t like how thick they were and he said he could do thinner. As he removed the old ones, he talked me into another set of dipped nails. He passed me off to another man who did the actual dip. I was very disappointed with the final result, with small dips/pits/brush strokes where the nails are not smooth, a noticeable (probably only to me,) ridge where new meets old, an area that I had to point out that were not covered by the clear gel polish. He did manage to do a thinner acrylic layer, which I love! Here it is, one week later and the edges at the cuticle (which weren’t pushed back before starting,) are already catching on my hair when I wash it and driving me crazy because they don’t have a gradual edge up to the cuticle, even a couple of high ridges at the cuticle. I have no doubt that if the owner were the one to actually do the dip, I would have been very satisfied, especially since he was the one that was recommended to me (and he is the one I thought was going to do my nails!) With all of this said, I will definitely go back and specifically ask for the owner to my nails. Clean salon, friendly and professional staff, huge selection of colors and services. Made a short notice appointment and got right in. I wanted to have my dipped nails removed and just have a gel polish. I told him I didn’t like how thick they were and he said he could do thinner. As he removed the old ones, he talked me into another set of dipped nails. He passed me off to another man who did the actual dip.
