Penny was one of the awesome technicians who did my nails. I had requested hard gel nail builder for my nails. I was told this was healthier for your nails. She did an awesome job creating my nail design. I will come here from Salinas as often as needed… it was sooo worth it!!

I was on vacation and wanted to get a fresh gel manicure. Minh Le took great care of me. The initial color that I chose was very sheer. We tried three coats and still no change. So Minh helped me find another color to put on top and it truly gave me the holiday festive look I wanted. The staff were super friendly. Top Nails reminded me a little of the show “Cheers” because the staff knew their clients names and greeted them as they entered! I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back during future trips to Carmel, CA. Thank you, Minh, and Merry Christmas.

My husband and I went here to celebrate. We just got a basic pedi but with added sea salt scrub. The sea salt scrub is $5 extra but it feels so good. I definitely recommend it. My husband enjoyed it as well even though he was unsure about it at first. Very clean place and their things look well kept. A little pricey for me but apparently this is now more common. But I highly recommend this spot. Definitely would return!

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been going there for about 4 years & only got pedicures. Always happy with their service. They would be engaging in conversation with us but always talked to each other in their own language, which is fine with me as long as you say something to me once in a while.I was there 4 days ago & for the first time, had a French manicure. It was by one of the guys that has been there all along, but not the main guy. I don’t know his name because he wouldn’t even introduce himself. It was the most uneven polish that I’ve ever experienced & it’s already peeling off on 4 nails.And the worst of it was that they did not speak to any us except to instruct us to in able the service they were giving us. And the salon was pretty full.I work in a hair salon & understand the meaning of “personal service.” I hope the the owner reads this & makes an effort to change things. I really don’t want to look for another place to go to, but there are many other nail salons in Carmel & Monterey.I have been going there for about 4 years & only got pedicures. Henry was great. Very focused, did the deluxe pedicure for me. Very clean polish job, very meticulous in removing any smudges. Took my temp before I entered, had me use hand sanitizer. Very limited number of clients allowed in at the same time. Plexiglass barriers in place. Good safety protocols.

Ive been using another nail salon for YEARS. I happenstance decided to drop into this one with my four year old daughter. I was so happily surprised to get such warm and personable service and the quality of their product is top notch. My nails have lasted weeks and not days like my old favorite place. They were also very sweet to my little girl, painting two perfect little goldfishes right on her big toesl!! Needless-to-say – this is my go-to spot now!
