If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Spoke to a man on the phone who was so disrespectful and rude the only reason I decided to let that go and still show up is because I was desperate to get my nails at the time. The man told me it wasn’t busy and that they would be able to seat me right away. That was a lie. I get there and I waited at least twenty minutes. When I spoke up to the same man that was on the phone he gave me worse attitude in anyone’s professional life and acted as if I had insulted him and said I should just go somewhere else! Make it make sense! Out of all the nail salons here in Stockton, this is the last place one should go if they expect great customer service. Do not let the looks or fancy location fool you. Would never recommend this place to anyone even if it’s the last nail salon on earth. I don’t even normally write reviews but felt the need to share my horrible experience.

My daughter and I came here for pedicures and dipping powder. Everything from the beginning to the end of our experience was amazing. The staff were very friendly. I was charged $77 for the most simple acrylic set, a French tip. I had medium length and I was left with acrylic residue hardened under all my nails, all my nails were curved downwards , the French tip was way too thick , and there was only one coat of white gel so all the French tips ended up being transparent. When I asked to have the nails straightened and not curved and have another coat of white gel, I was told that it was too late to fix anything.They looked like beginner nails. I called later that day to see if this could be fixed and so they told me to come in the next day at 1pm. I came at the time they told me and I had an older woman doing my nails this time, off the bat when I showed her the reference picture of a simple acrylic French tip she called it ugly and said she doesn’t do French tips like that. She proceeded to straighten out my nails and only made them slightly better and began drawing the french tip and when I asked if she can make the French tip run along the sides of my nail she said she can’t do that and told me to wait for another technician to do my nails because she had customers waiting on her. And angrily wiped off all the French tip she had done on my nails and had me sit on the couch mid session with bare acrylic nails and had me wait on the other technician who was also doing someone else’s nails. At this point I was contemplating asking for a refund and was so confused as to why I was charged $77 for a medium length French tip that two technicians couldn’t even do properly. It was THE most simple design ever. I finally and passed onto the other technician after he’s done with his customer and he managed to make it look decent but I will never come back here again because they clearly don’t know how to do the simplest designs.

Nicely decorated salon. Questionable skill of technicians. Poor quality manicure and filing of my nails . Four days after receiving a regular manicure at this salon my nails were splitting and flaking. This has never happened during my 30 years of getting professional manicures to keep my nails and cuticles well groomed and cared for. Honestly my nails looked worse after receiving my first and last manicure at Top Coat Nails and Spa. Definitely not worth the money I spent

Very frustrating I went for a full pedicure I wanted one with the stones and everything. The lady said I should get lower price one more better. So I guy came over and I was showing him the one I want. She starting yelling at him tell him no to do this one. I wanted cat eye color nails I picked one out green color she came over with a different color decided it was to light and picked out a blue color I was not happy with either service.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’m not sure how this place has such high ratings. Pretty? Yes. I expected much more when they opened. My first visit I was charged a deposit over the phone via Venmo to make my appointment. Then when I arrived I waited 1.5 hours which made me later to my next appt. They took the lady that came after me first. I had to come back to have my nails completed. My nails were completed by a guy who did not know what he was doing and messed up my shape. Meanwhile the customer next to me was being yelled at by the (older lady)nail artist. Her nails were done not to her liking and not how she asked. I tried again and my nails were nice but crooked, although the artist was super friendly. The last time (I got the older lady)my nails were sloppily done. The shape not how I asked and the polish gooped on. They seem to not know a lot about design or shape when you ask for it. The only good looking nails were the ones by the young lady with blonde highlights and the man sitting by the front. I had the older lady and it was horrible! She kept trying to get me to get a different color, didn’t give me at all what I wanted, completely cut off my natural nails without asking me, and cut six of my fingers with the drill! She also watched me as I paid and charged $45 for the most simple short nails! I will never get acrylic nails again because of this terrible experience.
