They are conveniently located right across the street from the Bangor Airport. My flight landed at 1:15 and I had scheduled a 1:45 appointment and was able to make it on time. Julie did a wonderful job of painting pumpkins on my fingernails because I was attending a pumpkin festival and Damariscotta Maine. The nails and my pumpkin suit or a big hit. I cannot recommend to Julie and Top Care nails highly enough. It’s too bad I’m only here once a year to take advantage of their professional and courteous services.

I honestly don’t know what to rate them because there are both pros and cons. I called and asked for a walk in for 4 people and they said yes come now, so we headed there and we honestly only sat and waited for 15 minutes which isn’t bad. The gentleman I had was very nice and did small talk with me but I feel as if he didn’t take his time.. my nails are crooked and most of them aren’t the same length because he didn’t measure them to see if they were all the same length. I love the color I picked out but I don’t like how crooked they are. This is my first time ever going there so I can’t leave a bad review as it was my only time going. I’m just disappointed because he rushed and didn’t take his time. He was very sweet though.

I got some horrid acrylics awhile back at a Walmart nail salon and they were super thick and uncomfortable, they were causing pain to my nail bed. These guys got them removed for me and did it so gently. I only had to tell them once I was sensitive to heat and they Stopped frequently so the tool didn’t heat up and make me feel like I was being burned and got them off. My nail had gotten very thin and they did multiple layers of gel and a simple French to fix them and strengthen them. They were super cute.

The quality is not good. My nails lifted after only a day and a half. The woman who did my nails sliced four of my fingers while trimming my cuticles. The lengths are uneven. The shapes are messed up and not what I wanted. They honestly look like press on nails that I buy at Walmart. The work itself is very spotty. The nails aren’t even filled in all the way. And the color isn’t even applied fully. It’s a huge disappointment and I would not recommend coming here to anyone.
