Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI noticed that they were open on Sundays. Picture Day is coming up, and I knew I probably hadn’t planned ahead enough. I crossed my fingers and called Saturday evening, and Koko answered. I asked about a kid’s cut. He asked how old and scheduled us for first thing Sunday morning.I brought two photos – both similar, but my son really wanted a part in his hair.Upon chatting, he said that he had his storefront for the last 7 years, and came from a family of barbers: his father and grandfather before him. He put on a Nat Geo-type show for my son and got to work.Koko was meticulous and patient. He spent an HOUR resculpting my son’s thick hair. It looks amazing – he clearly took onto account the photos, but also the anatomy of my child’s head and the previous haircut (which he said wasn’t good, especially on top). But in 2-3 haircuts, he says that the top will look better.He clearly has an artistic eye and is meticulous. There were no long stray hairs, and the end look doesn’t look artificial or forced (like the straight-across bangs my son got elsewhere, mehh). In fact, it looks SO GOOD!!The cost was half of what I paid at the last (good, but not great) barbershop. Incredible.We have absolutely found our new barber.
