Brought my family members when a regular walked in and started talking about how races shouldn’t mix. The barbers then start talking plans while they have 4 seated brown people. They should have asked him to settle or leave. As much old-school charm as this place has, it’s the wrong kind.

Haircuts are cheap- in price and quality. They cost about $9. You have to be very specific about what you want (length, style, etc.) because staff, while friendly, are not very creative. I go here for a cheap regular haircut, unless I have an important upcoming event where I need to look more put together.

Nice neighborhood shop. I showed the barber a picture of what I wanted and he flawlessly duplicated it. Eddie was friendly and asked enough questions to make certain that the cut was exactly what I wanted. Pricing was low with quality sky high.

Critical: QualityI had two decent haircuts here but the one today was awful. I told the barber with the flat cap 5 on the sides, medium on top, and showed him a picture of me with that haircut. He then proceeds to shave my entire head.

I was meeting some friends for lunch nearby and found what looked like a charming little shop. I walked in to find three barbers sitting in their chairs (that should have been my first clue). I sit down, specifically ask if the barber who took me could do a flat top (not to mention they have a specific listing for a flat top on their price list–it’s $3 more than the standard $10 haircut). Well, to make a long story short, I could have gotten a better haircut at the local butcher shop. My only consolation is that hair grows. Avoid at all costs.
