Tonya’s Braiding & Natural Hair Salon is a wonderful place with wonderful people. The environment is very clean and friendly. This was my first visit with Ms. Tonya, but will definitely not be my last. First impressions will tell a person everything you need to know and my first impression was wow! Lovely business and a very friendly environment. I called at the last minute with an emergency with my hair. She took me in instantly. Even though she had to do more work than what was planned to do my hair, she was patient and very helpful! Not only did she take time to fit me in on a late Saturday evening, but while doing my hair, she cared enough to educate me on how to take care of my natural hair. One of the best parts about being her client was being able to experience her self-made products. OH MY GOODNESS…. I’ve never felt or used hair products that smell so wonderful, felt so good and did an amazing job on my hair. I have long hair and it tangles badly while being washed. Using self-made products, I never had a tangle and it was such a wonderful experience. Her self-made products are amazing and I don’t want to use any other store purchased items after using hers. I can’t wait to purchase some! Ms. Tonya is more than just a stylist but she was able to tell me what type of hair I have, different styles to wear, and how to care for it. My visit with her has made a big difference and needless to say, I left her chair looking and feeling fabulous as well as pampered. The thing that impressed me the most was while she was working on my hair, she had, in my opinion, a very rude and demanding new customer to come in and be very respectful but she remained professional the entire time offered her an appointment time and remained positive. Overall, this was a great experience and if you love your hair and want to look and feel important and beautiful, I recommend you trying Tonya’s Braiding & Natural Hair Salon in Sherwood, AR.

Disappointed in overall professionalism. I was going to be a first time client she had me come back two different times claiming she was behind and didnt seem to care to have my business. Didn’t have the courtesy to give me a call and let me know if it was possible to reschedule or push back. Don’t feel valued and the experience was so bad I won’t be back.
