If you’re looking for someone who’s energetic, who actually cares about your hair, and know their stuff, then look no further. Alicia at Tonality is absolutely amazing. She’s very passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. She took the time to discuss what I was looking for. There was no pressure from her to change anything or do something I wasnt comfortable with. She’s very professional and an all out decent person. I would highly recommend anyone to her salon.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAlicia was great! I love how my hair came out, and she kept working on the color until we got it just right. I actually got compliments on my hair color right after it was done as well, so clearly it was noticed! It is a great chocolate brown color with some golden balayage. I love that she uses organic hair coloring as well. She was nice enough to fit me into her schedule as well since I was driving from far away and had to get my hair cut and colored before going away for the weekend. I also happened to leave my jacket there by accident and realized after my long drive home. She was nice enough to ship it to me rather than having me drive all the way there just to pick it up and drive home, and I offered several times to reimburse her but she said no worries and I don’t owe her anything. No hair dresser has ever done that and gone out of their way to help like that, so it was so sweet of her and really appreciated. I have known Alicia when she opened a shop in Maine. I have thin hair that doesn’t like to grow, she is the only person I would walk in and say do what you want. She makes you feel so comfortable and confident in her knowledge. As of today I am traveling down from Maine to Mount Airy NC to see her because she has become an important person in my life and because I haven’t had my hair done since she left. I LOVE this place. Alicia is an amazing hairstylist. She will make you feel comfortable from the beginning to end. When she is done, you feel completely pampered and look like whole new person. I had long hair for over 20 years, I was iffy about getting my hair cut, especially with layers, bc of bad pst experiences, when she was done, I was in shock, I was in love with the outcome of the cut and the hair coloring she does, are as amazing as she is. I could tell she had ALOT if experience and expertise of what your looking for. If you want something new, exciting, fun, or even just a trim , THIS GIRL IS IT!!! After the first visit I was hooked.
