Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!! I’m not sure how she stays in business.I went to this salon on 6/10 for a scheduled appointment at 2pm. I got there on time and then had to wait for 2 hours before she even started on my hair. When I walked in, she had 1 person in the chair finishing up. As I waited, another person came in. She took that person in front of me but had me sit in the other chair telling me that her assistant was on her way. She finished the 2nd persons weave (it looked horrible, braids way too big and very puffy on top) when her assistant walked in – 2 hours and 45 minutes after I got there- the same time as a 3rd person. She did about 4 braids in the back of my head while the assistant started on the 3rd person. Well, he stopped the assistant because she wasn’t braiding his hair in the style he requested, so she traded, me getting the assistant. Now I don’t know if she was mad about being there or just was clueless, but she was very heavy handed while parting my hair and kept getting it tangled up in the comb and then trying to yank it out, causing me to warn her twice. She was also very slow and completed about 15 braids total. The rest of the time she was trying to get ahold of someone on her phone and messing with her headphones. During this time, the main stylist finished person 3 and another person. She finally came back to me and started a rush job on my hair. I know everyone is thinking why stick around? Because I had to be somewhere on the Sunday and didn’t have time to wait for another appointment elsewhere. This appointment was the only one I could secure 10 days in advance. My usual stylist was on vacation.At the end of the appointment she told me how much it was, and I asked her about a discount. She questioned why and my answer was because of my extremely long wait. Her response was that the hairstyle she did normally takes her 8 hours to do (she did my hair in less than 4 hours, I left at 810pm) that was the cause for the price. I explained to her that I actually left work an hour early to make this appointment only to be started 2.75 hours later. She dropped the price by $50.00, but I soon discovered that it wasn’t enough.As SHE SAID, it usually takes 8 hours for this style, but it didn’t take 20 minutes for the braids to start sliding out due to the piss poor job she did. I messaged her at 930pm, by then I had lost 4 braids. She agreed to put them back in Friday afternoon. By then it was 7 braids. She took about 15 minutes to correct those that came out. Too bad I have had about 15 more come out since, most on the side her assistant did (btw- her assistant was actually her niece!!)This has been quite embarrassing as I have been around a lot of people since. I have managed to get most of them back in myself, but if I wanted to braid or have to continually maintain my hair for the week, I wouldn’t have paid her!! I have NEVER, in 40 years of getting my hair braided, had so many braids slide out, especially in the first week!!And while she may think I don’t know anything about this hairstyle or blame it on me having thin hair (due to medications), I have getting my hair braided about every 2-3 months for the past 3 years straight. This is really due to her lack of time and the rush job she did. The photos attached were taken on day 3 and 4 after I got my hair done. If you look close enough, you will see that she really only braided about an inch or two of each braid, not even to the end of my natural hair. I look like I have already had it in for about 6 weeks and I just want to cry. Her prices were already outrageous and now I am stuck looking a mess because she rushed and cant afford to have someone more capable fix it.AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!!AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI can not find the words to explain what a wonderful experience I had with these three ladies while the did my small/medium braids. The atmosphere was awesome and you could tell they all enjoyed what they were doing! I absolutely love the work they did. The quality is truly amazing and they were done much sooner than I had anticipated . I will not be going to anyone else to get my braids done! I can not find the words to explain what a wonderful experience I had with these three ladies while the did my small/medium braids. The atmosphere was awesome and you could tell they all enjoyed what they were doing! I absolutely love the work they did. The quality is truly amazing and they were done much sooner than I had anticipated . I will not be going to anyone else to get my braids done! Excellent job ladies!

I get single box braids everytime bringing nothing but the cost of the braids and hair as she also provides the hair if needed. My last braids were kept nicely for 4 months with very little maintenance. I have always left satisfied. She is always on time for my appointments and takes less than half the time anyone else has ever taken on my hair. I will be returning to her for ALL of my braiding needs. I have gotten my hair braided by Kadidia a few times now as I was new to Florida she was recommended to me. I get single box braids everytime bringing nothing but the cost of the braids and hair as she also provides the hair if needed. My last braids were kept nicely for 4 months with very little maintenance. I have always left satisfied. She is always on time for my appointments and takes less than half the time anyone else has ever taken on my hair. I will be returning to her for ALL of my braiding needs. Highly recommended!

They told me his hair was to “soft” (he’s half white) and charged me $50 for some super sloppy straight back cornrows. 3 hours later and it looks terrible. I do not recommend wasting your money!Service: Braids
