Tomahawkers Barber Shop has been in continuous operation in Nevada County since 1980. We are located at 1117 E Main St in Grass Valley, across from the Nevada County Country Club. We specialize in men’s barbering. We’re an old fashioned men’s barbershop. Haircuts are taken on a walk in basis only, no appointments. Come on by and visit us! Note: Women and children’s (minors) hair cutting are not services we offer, no exceptions, please don’t ask. We also do not do salon services at Tomahawkers (i.e. curling, coloring, straightening, washing, etc…). Thanks.

Great place to get a good fade. Be specific about what you want and it will be a great cut! Prices are good, with kids and senior discounts. Basic cut is $20 right now, which beat the pants off the $14 Supercuts hair cut you are going to have to go to a real baber to have fixed anyways! They also offer beard trims for a few bucks extra.

Poor attitude and unfriendly. Seems to resent his customers. Showed up at 9am when the shop opened and he seemed angry that I was there. Told me “you are going to need to take a seat for awhile so I can get the shop ready”. I sat for 10 minutes and he never acknowledged me again other than to have me move so he could sweep his floor. I left. I think I will go to Auburn and find someone that will appreciate a customer. Haircuts here are not bad if you can look past the complaining.
