I was more than happy with my manicure. The salon is clean and inviting and the people were very friendly and made sure you were happy with your manicure or whatever you had done. I posted a review 11 months ago with Jay as the owner. While Jay was the owner I had pleasant experiences at this shop. I gave the shop 5 stars under the old management. Jay would do my nails and Maggie would do my waxing and pedicures. The salon was clean, staff was friendly, with short wait times.

It was not a busy day so I was attended to quickly. The place seemed clean but later I found out not really. The lady got the tools she needed for my manicure from the “sterilizer”. She put the tools on the table and I saw the nipper was dirty! I told her and she changed it. Then the UV light was gritty when you put your hand in. It needs to be cleaned after every customer who uses it. After my manicure, she just returned the tools in the “sterilizer” without cleaning it. Who knows if the sterilizer was even working. My nails came out good though. The lady listened to what shape I wanted. They were friendly and the price is fair though. I went for a pedicure before as well. I felt rushed.

Salon seemed a bit messy, three customers left before they sat me down and noticed that the workers immediately go on their phone instead of cleaning their station of the nail dust or any cleaning in general. I overheard a customer tell her nail tech several times what color she wanted and how she wanted her nails done, the tech replied with “too late, this color is better” and completely ignored her shape request. I should’ve left when I heard that since it was foreshadowing the work I was going to get. I got gel powder done since they don’t do the usual acrylic and my nails are very chunky, they look like long square “bubble nails” when I asked for coffin, the shape changed (obviously) when the powder was applied but he didn’t shave the acrylic down and didn’t shape it well. not to mention that the tip size on half my nails don’t line up and some are longer/ shorter than others. The guy answering the phone was very nice though and doesn’t pressure you into getting something that you don’t want. Not sure to give a 1 or 2 stars I’ve never written a review but I had higher hopes for this place, hopefully they just had a bad day.

Love this nail salon. I drive 1 hour just to see Jay because of how he madame feel welcomed on my first visit . It was so remarkable . I was always search for a nail salon that I can just come and relax from my strenuous day of being a mom. Everyday I’m so glad I decided to try out a nail salon when I visit my sister. Overall I was pleased with this experience. The quality of the service was alright. There wasn’t anything special about how my nails and toes came out, but the overall atmosphere was great. I never got my nail technicians name, but she was funny and very kind.
