I almost never post a review, but I have been going to this nail salon for well over a year now. I have tried several in my area, and nobody treats me like Toi Wellington does!!! I have only had one nail job where I was not satisfied in the 18 months, and that is saying something. The establishment is clean, the music is relaxing, and all of the workers have the utmost respect for the clients. People may say they are expensive, but let’s focus on the quality: my most recent dip powder extensions lasted me 4 weeks no chips, just regular nail growth! Come here. If you’re disappointed, change your tech and give them a second try. They are that good!

After some foot surgeries its been hard to find a place that understood what be gentle meant. I’ve walked out of 2 places for them not being considerate. (Mind you my whole ankle is scared up very visably) I gave this place a try having low hopes, but KAYLA gave me the first pedicure I have enjoyed in 2 years!! She was very sweet and didn’t try to manipulate my foot. I will definitely be back as this was the first time I had happy tears after a pedicure in a long time!

Critical: CleanlinessAfter watching a video on how clean Toi nail spa was I decided to get my nails done there. On 12 JUL I visited the Wellington/RPB location. I’m an active duty Soldier (on leave) preparing to move to Germany so I was being mindful of what I got on my nails. I had lots of questions about the different services and the receptionist couldn’t really answer them. In the end a male tech came up and helped me make the decision to get dip nails.I must say I was disappointed to see that Toi nail salon does not use new items on each client as advertised in the video I watched. They used the same file on me as they use on everyone else. From what I could tell the tools were sterile in the package but I was not shown the sterile identifier as displayed in the video. In the end my nails turned out really nice but I decided I wasn’t going back their because of the receptionist and the false advertisement which is why I decided to give this salon a try in the first place.Fast forward to the evening of 19 JUL, I start to feel pain in my left middle finger nail. Through the night the pain changes to throbbing and when I woke up my finger was slightly swollen, itching, felt pressured, and it hurt if touched. For the next two days I had discomfort but it was lessening. I didn’t have any injury to my nail so I was confused as to why my nail was still hurting. Finally, I decided to remove the dip to see what was going on with my nail.It makes sense now, my nail is infected. After getting dip nails done at Toi nail spa my left middle finger has a fungus. Photos attached are of the damage, and condition of my nails 10 days later. I included a photo of my nails prior to getting them done to show that this was not on my nails before, also a photo of the removed nail to show I didn’t break my nail or have some other damage that cause this infection.I am not a doctor but upon researching my symptoms my conclusion is that this is in fact an infection caused by the nail service provided to me at Toi nail Salon.I never write reviews but after this experience I just had to. I paid $50 (photo attached) for this kind of service. Not all nail tech professionals are the same, and neither is the opinion you have on your nails versus another. I’ve been to this place multiple times and most of the times it’s not the best when that girl with brown hair and acne is working that day. She has brushed me and my daughter off all the time we’re it feel like we shouldn’t even be there. At this point I’ve had enough of her and am choosing not to go there anymore until they hire better staff. When waiting for her to acknowledge us we were picking out our nail colors and I overheard her on the phone talking about how she “doesn’t want to be here”. I feel bad for whoever is signing her checks

Sadly, this place has gone down hill. I used to use Toi exclusively, but after 2 bad techs back to back, I wont go back. Both rushed and hurt me in one way or another. One pushed back my cuticles so far that they bled and another cut my toe twice and gave the most painful “massage” I’ve ever had.

Great Manicures, but incredibly rude blonde receptionist. I don’t consider myself a picky person when it comes to employees on their phones as work, it is 2022 I don’t really care if I see an employee checking their phone or on social media when they are NOT attending clients. However, it is just common customer service to not be talking on your phone, obviously to a friend because she was talking how terribly slow work was and she was wearing airpods. At least go to the back on break and make your quick phone call if your friend really needs to hear how bad your day is because it is “slow”. Also, when I asked if the person I was schedule with could do the nail design I had a photo on my phone (and I told her it was 100% ok if he couldn’t, I just wanted to ask) she made a terrible face but still told me he could probably do it, but then never communicated with the guy what I wanted before hand or asked him if he could do the design. If I was a staff member, I would be frustrated from the lack of communication. Like I said above, I am typically not a picky person and pretty laidback, but the professionalism just was not there at all for their front desk staff. I ended up still getting a wonderful manicure (plain gel – no design), but will not coming back unless the front desk staff seriously improves.
