I came in for the first time to get a manicure, it was supposed to include a massage and a hot towel and I never got the hot towel. I didn’t want them to paint my nails a color because it just chips after a day or so anyways (I have naturally oily nails) so I asked if it would be ok just to put a small heart on 2 nails and the receptionist said it would be fine. The nail tech ended putting 1 coat of clear nail polish. When I got the bill, they charged me $5 extra for what is in the photos I provided, even though I asked about doing it beforehand and an upcharge was never mentioned. Not to mention the fact that they did not provide all services that were promised.

Amy was super sweet and helped me figure out which tips would work best for me, but she did my cuticles using her sander and cut into both my thumbs. And didn’t wipe down my hands before doing polish, so I have grit coming through the gel polish after only a week. Luckily I got them done close to my event, so they still looked okay then, but it’s annoying to need new polish less than a week later. I got them done wed morning, and my cuticles are already overgrown and the polish is messed up on the following Tuesday.

As I’ve been here numerous of times, on my visit today there was a confusion with my appointment time and the services that I needed. The front desk who has red hair went over the confusion with me when I arrived, I explained to her that I was okay with having a different individual complete my pedicure as my nails could be with the same Tech Anthony. Once it was my time to get service Anthony came to the front very rudely and told the front desk I had to pick one or the other service he’s not doing both. I said that is fine and I said that 20 mins ago when I arrived. He then got upset with me saying that I missed my appointment. I tried to show my text messages that didn’t show those times. Once I sat in the chair he threw the towel on the counter still in a very bad attitude when we sat down He still continued talking about the schedule I then said to him please look at my text messages, he then got up and went to the front again, while him and the front desk were talking about me, I then went to the front to still fix it and Anthony and the front desk were still nasty at this point I no longer wanted that energy nor my nails done I said not a problem I will leave Anthony responded “good leave!” I am very disappointed and disgusted! I’ve sent so much business to this establishment, but I will no longer get anything done there.

Toi has been very good for the last two years. Friendly and efficient. However, recently I don’t know if they’re short staffed or they’re just overrun with business, the manicures and pedicures have been way less than perfect.
