Moved over to Today’s Nail Spa back in December and I couldn’t be any happier! Emma is truly talented and gifted! Professional, courteous, funny and sweet!! Best nail artist in town!!!!!!!! She did these free hand Old English letters on my nails! She NEVER disappoints!!! John is awesome too!!!! Wonderful customer service!!! This is my first negative post ever! Today my experience has made this post happen. I have been going to this location for almost 18 months and over the last few months the management and atmosphere has become very unfriendly. I thought I would go once more, as I was happy with the service of manicurist. Unfortunately on this last visit the location was also unprofessional! While I was having my nails done, the price charts were collected, the prices were raised and the charts were then redistributed to the various manicure stations. Only when my nails were finished was the service price given to me. The price for the service I was having done had increased by $5 without any notice or communication to me about the increase being done immediately. When I went to pay the bill the person taking the payment said the charge on the bill. I mentioned to him that the increase was done after my service had already begun and he nodded (since he was on the phone). I told him that this was very unprofessional and he replied with sorry and continued with the payment collection without any further comment made. I left and will not be returning to this location.

This place has gone down hill very quickly. Been going with my mom for a year and a half and in the last 6 months, it’s been worse every time. Today, they raised the rate while we were in the middle of the service. Without a word. They have a “rewards” system they don’t honor. They are rude and disrespectful. The nail work is ok, but we have had to file and adjust more and more recently. It’s not worth the money anymore. We won’t be back. I’ve never been more unhappy with a nail place.

My favorite part of a pedicure is the massage on the feet and legs so if that is what you are hoping to find this isn’t the place for you. This salon is perfect for a quick pedicure if you don’t have much time to spare. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

It is the best I’ve found in Simi. The new chairs & the new look are very nice. I realize it’s a monotonous job & chit chatting with co-workers is a way to get through the day. I just wish I could get a pedicure without feeling like I’m interupting their socializing. Or feeling uncomfortable that I’m being talked about. With that said I cannot give them 5 stars.
