I went for a men’s haircut and it had been a long time since I last got one. When I made my appointment, I originally thought this was a different place in downtown Potsdam because of the similarity in names. I’m usually a little picky when it comes to who cuts my hair, but I decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed! The lady that cut my hair was nice and funny and did a great job! Very well priced for what I had done. I will definitely be going back.

I have been going to Today’s Hair for many years, long before her new location which is great. I love the rustic look with original bricks and fixtures. Shelly Murray, the owner and my stylist, is always courteous, polite and genuinely enjoys serving the public which is evident by the numerous awards she and her staff have earned and publicly recognized for over the years. Additionally, she supports many local groups through charitable donations and contributions. Thank you Shelly for making downtown Potsdam a brighter and friendly place for people to shop, relax and feel great!

I have been going to Today’s Hair in Potsdam on and off for over five years now. In the past year I have gone to Kara exclusively (no there salon will do!). Kara (and everyone at the salon) is extremely friendly and better yet- Kara is a magician with hair! Whether it’s just a trim, a funky design in my undercut, fixing at-home colors gone wrong, creating a natural ombré, or introducing vibrant colors, she does an AMAZING job. Kara goes above and beyond to get your hair exactly how you want it (which is extremely appreciated). She is the best hair stylist I have ever gone to. Thank you, Today’s Hair!!

I alway go here whenever I want to try a new experimental hairstyle or color technique. They have always done a fabulous job listening to what I want and the end result have always concurred to my expectations. I recommend coming here if you really want a younger hairstylist who is willing to try out a new technique, just make sure to ask who can do what better and schedule an appointment with that stylist.
