I tried this nail salon for the first time today and I was extremely satisfied with my service and the lady who worked on my nails was so professional and she had amazing customer service. She made me feel comfortable and welcome and I will definitely be going back. Since I relocated to the fairview heights/O’Fallon Illinois area almost 2 years ago, I’ve had really negative experience with the few nail salon I’ve tried to become a regular customer at. Anyway I can tell by this initial visit that this Salon will not be the same experience for me. She was also very patient with me and the fact that I couldn’t make my mind up on the color I wanted. The overall final result was I’m very satisfied with the way my nails turned out and i had a respectful nail technician. I’m glad I found this place and I will be returning.

The service was ok. My complaint is that I paid 50.00 apparently if you want medium length which they consider long its extra then 4 to get matte top coat. The quality is a 1 star at best. They look like a beginner did them. I asked for coffin and I got square. Will be going somewhere else for my fill. And the nails themselves extremely thin.

I visited Today’s Nail Spa in hope of receiving a clean and safe pedicure with a manicure. As I waited my turn to be serviced, I noticed the nail technician used the same nail utensils from one customer to the next without cleaning, changing or sterilizing them. Once it was my turn to be serviced, another nail technician attempted to re-use dirty utensils on myself. I then confronted her asking if she could obtain clean utensils. She then began to act as though she was unable to speak English and attempted to proceed with the pedicure. Another employee then became involved and instructed the nail technician to use alcohol to clean them prior to using them on myself. I declined. The nail technician then went to the back storage area to retrieve a new one of the utensils. However, when she sat down to proceed with the service, she continued to attempt to use the old pair of utensils. I declined services and departed the facility after informing them I was displeased and would be reporting them to the health department.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I got there when they opened. Every staff member was rude. I waited one hour to be seated only to wait more time because they were so unorganized that no one knew who was going to do my nails. Two people worked on one person in the pedicure area while I waited 10 more minutes to finally get service. I picked my color and when LEE came back with the color it didn’t look right. He began on one finger and I said that it still didn’t look right, but I liked the color however it wasn’t the color on the nail stick I chose. He said that the color would change and kept going. After all 5 fingers are done I said that it didn’t look right and to go back and look at the stick to make sure. He came back and was angry that it in FACT didn’t look the same and I asked him to take it all off. He began to get angry and say that I should’ve said something before (WHICH I DID) and I told him that. After he soaked my nails he refused my service and told me to leave. Very unprofessional. It’s not my fault their colors aren’t updated on their nail sticks. So be aware of that and be aware of the rude staff as well. I’ll be going back to my usual place!!

I just recently moved up here to Illinois in April and ever since, I have been too numerous of salons within the Fairview heights/O’Fallon area.. I was not pleased with any of them. In fact I was outraged by a few…. UNTIL.. I CAME ACROSS TODAY NAIL SPA!!! I have been there twice already and I’m even happier the second time then I was the first!! I love how it’s not immensely busy. And you are not rushed in and out of a chair. Think I finally found a nail spa to go to continuously for this foreseeable future!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI asked for a manicure and pedicure, they placed me in a pedicure chair, the lady started my pedicure then the older gentleman came over with a bowl of water and had me place it in my lap and put my hands in the water, then he brought the gel dryer, and a few magazines, took the water, placed the magazines in my lap and then the dryer on top of the magazine, he then proceeded to work on my nails while hoovering over me. He would put my polished nails in the dryer and have me hold the dryer still with my forearm. Fastest most unprofessional service i have ever had. Do NOT go here. I quit going here 5 years ago and started doing my own nails, because after 6 years of going there, their customer service declined tremendously. I went back in for an acrylic overlay 2 days ago because I’m going on vacation and they DESTROYED my cuticles (see photos). Literally, they were BLEEDING. I washed my hands and they still bled. There was blood on the acrylic when the technician painted my nails. I told him they were bleeding and he didn’t even acknowledge it. It’s currently 2 days later and I could barely take a shower because my cuticles stung from contact with soap. If they get infected, I’ll know exactly where it came from. I even filed them the way I wanted them before I went in there and they didn’t follow my file line. I asked for the almond shaped nails and my nails are uneven and jagged. I also went in on Mother’s Day with my daughter and just had mine painted… The paint lasted 2 days. When I paint my own nails, they last a week. I could’ve done a better job myself and I’m not even certified. From now on, I will. It’s disappointing that I have to leave to go on vacation with my nails looking a mess and my hands hurting.
