Based on my description error, I got a one-time curling hair, the lady who helped me also kindly asked me if I needed water, but she didn’t ask me what type of curls I wanted, and then I was full of doubts and got it ——A very small curly hair, I told my friends that I just came out of the hair salon, no one believed, not even I, I could do it better at home, I just had my head full of wonder why it was done for me curly hair like this? Even if I just said I want curly hair, at least ask me what type I want, you know what it feels like the more you think about it, the more wrong it feels? I asked if I could curl my hair without an appointment. The lady at the front desk was very nice and arranged for a lady who was temporarily available to help me. She washed my hair, dried it and straightened it, and then directly gave me a minimal volume, and then I’m done. I know the feedback I gave you that day was good, and the lady helped me very patiently than I knew the perm service I actually wanted to do, and I also gave her a nice tip, but I didn’t realize there is something wrong at that time ，maybe there is, because the doubt has been in my mind, it has grown out in the past two days, just talking about the service of one-time curly hair may be barely related to perfunctory. If you guys don’t have enough time and tell me you can’t serve me without the appointment ,that’s fine, but it’s not a good idea to get me a curl like this to kill me. Thank you for your patience.And this is what I looked like when I got home that day.

The quality of hair dresser at TM is really quite good. I’ve had pretty good fortune with getting my hair colored and cut over the 2 years I’ve lived in Bloomington. However, there is a caveat that should be mentioned. After moving from San Diego to Bloomington I knew there would be a difference in culture. I was not in error in this assumption. I have to say my biggest criticism of TM is the fact that the hair dressers make assumptions about clients based on length of hair. I have short hair and ride a motorcycle, which is not, I have learned, what most Midwestern middle aged women do. I hope the owner of TM reads my review. Making assumptions about anyone based on hair length or mode of transportation is not fair and generally inaccurate to boot. I had an appointment recently and the hair dresser ended up making me look like Howard Wolowitz from The Big Bang Theory. I’ve been able to style it to look a bit better but the hair dresser obviously took one look at me in my motorcycle gear and jumped to one heck of a huge conclusion. Stereotypes pertaining to gender are alive and well at TM. However, they still do good work and I plan on sticking with them. Just beware, if you don’t have a traditionally feminine appearance you might have to guide your stylist accordingly.

Mickey always does a great job on my hair and she goes above and beyond to get me in when I need. I recently had many cockleburs stuck in my hair down to the scalp. I called Mickey and she made sure I was going to get in to see someone immediately. Jenny was so willing to help, she came in on her day off and was able to get them out! I am so grateful for their quick response to my problem! Such a cute salon!! Had no idea it existed but it’s been here for about 40 years. The remodel looks great!This was my first time here so I was a bit nervous with who to trust to chop my hair. I got Jen and she did wonderful! Sweetest lady who knows what she’s doing.

This is a great atmosphere to get pampered. The ladies who work there dress professionally and classy. The prices are reasonable. The front receptionist is a great help both at an appointment and when calling to get scheduled. I went here to get hair and nails done for my wedding and have been going ever since.
