I’m not sure of the name of the nice woman who did my nails but she was fantastic. I need my nails SHORT for my job, and she did them perfectly! Very disappointed in service at TJ nails. I’ve been a customer for years now. Called to make an appointment recently Yen told me to come at a designated time. When I arrived Nora was doing someone else’s nail. No one even acknowledged my presence until Cori approached me to tell me she was instructed to do my nails. Cori had tufts of cotton stuck to her own nails as she had been involved in doing her own manicure. The polish that Nora had put on just days earlier was already chipping off and had to be removed so I let Cori remove it. She also clipped my nails-no polish, no file, no buff, just bare very short nails. Paid the price of a full manicure.So disrespectful to tell a customer to come at a certain time and then deny what was promised. The time I invested in going there as well as having to pay for a full manicure for virtually nothing. If Yen is not going to honor appointment times that she schedules herself don’t make the appointment. This is the third time this has happened and they were not even busy! Two techs were doing their own nails. No more of my time and money will go into the pocket of such dishonorable business practices.

I took my friend here to get pedicures for her birthday. I called ahead, and made an appt, but I think this place is better if you are a walk in. It didn’t seem like they kept our appt in mind. Which isnt a huge deal, but we had one person that had to swap between us and didnt really have them done “together”.It’s been years since I’ve had one. My feet WERE pretty rough, and they look pretty decent now, but there are some rough patches around my heel they missed. They clipped around the nails and cuticles really well though. Also, they didn’t really massage feet or calf at all, as they seemed rushed. And their massage chairs didn’t work, but that wasn’t something I expected anyways. Our toe nails look cute at least. I went and bought a pumice stone to fix my heels. I feel like for $32 it could have been a liiittle better. But maybe I’m just cheap.
