I scheduled an appointment with Owen after seeing positive reviews online and was very happy with the results of my balayage! The staff were very professional and I liked that they were mindful about including steps in their protocol to protect the health of the hair (ex. They sprayed my scalp with a protective spray prior to starting the coloring procedure, and used special leave in conditioners multiple times after bleaching). Owen is very mindful of what your desired final look is and even did a test strip of the color I had selected to make sure I was happy with it before committing to it. He was very patient and attentive to details. Would definitely recommend this place to others! 🙂

Went in for a walk in today, loved it. This was a salon before but very dark and cold looking, coming to the new salon now is so modern and bright i loved the whole ambience. I asked for a simple trim and Owen had taken care of me, want only an inch or 2 off with a slight U shape. I loved the haircut he gave me, gave me exactly what i asked for; and was even able to give me a responsible estimate pricing for a full hair dye with bleach. After my cut Owen even offered to curl it or make it wavy if I wanted, i kept it straight. Definitely coming here to get my hair colored and bringing friends!!!

This place is amazing!! The salon itself looks really nice and has great equipment and the stylists hooked me up. They really took their time from washing, drying, and cutting my hair. I really felt like they knew what they were doing and were very detail oriented which I appreciate as a first time customer. The prices were also amazing for the service I got. They also have lockable cabinets for you to put your bags so you don’t have bring it around the salon or leave it on the coat rack. Love that little detail. First time there but definitely won’t be my last!

This is my very first visit to TJ Hair Salon, I was a bit worried how I ended up with after few questions, Owen helped me pick the colors that match my skin tone and my style. I didn’t expect the process is so complicated, but he was very patient , carefully checked my hair and made sure the colors were right.

Been wanting to get my hair done because of my grown out roots and ultimately chose this place because of it’s convenience. I will definitely be coming back here because of the level of professionalism and care they put into your hair. Owen explained everything from the process to aftercare perfectly. My sister recommended this place for 2 reasons: the excellent care and attention to detail and service as well as the location. Its located on the quieter street on bell blvd so finding parking is seamless. This is the first time I got balayage so Owen was thoughtful and considerate of how I wanted it to be done. He also made sure to answer all my questions about aftercare. He has a lot of attention to detail and helps take really great pics that help bring out my hair color. I highly recommened this place and would definitely come back!

The salon is newly opened four month and the owners does the hair them selfs. This is the first time I bleached and dye my hair, they were very patient and careful with my hair( it was very long) the bleach they use does not feel uncomfortable or burning on the scalp. Most of their customers are regulars from their last job since they opened a salon of their own. The service was nice, nice products and easy to get a appointment with. The people that were working here was very kind and hooked up many nice conversations with me in the process of getting my hair done! They offered water/crackers and reassured me that I can tell them whatever I need or want or if I’m not happy with the outcome of my hair. They were very patient and did very well with what I asked !
