I walked out of the place and would recommend not wasting your time or money to go there. When I arrived there were 2 workers and only one person getting their nailed done. That should have been the first clue, especially since it was a beautiful Saturday early afternoon. When I told them I wanted a manicure and pedicure, they simply looked at me like a deer in headlights. I had to repeat it again. Was told to pick out color and have seat. There was only one other person in the salon. Okay, so I had a seat. After 10-minutes of waiting, I am asked again what did I want. I said a manicure and pedicure. They said what kind and I said what do you offer? Is there a menu. Still no response and they acted offended that I would ask what they offer. I am not a mind reader and do not know what they offer or cost. At this point my relaxing treat of having a manicure and pedicure have been ruined as they direct me to the chair. Of course they start speaking their native language, which is into English. So. Said never mind. I had been there once after COVID opened and it was empty then. I will never go back there and this is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review of any business. But felt that others should know if they were looking yo go there. If I could give it a negative star, I most certainly would.

I NEVER write bad reviews on a business because I know we all have our good and bad days but this has infuriated me! I got my nails done at Tipsy Nails in Mt Pleasant for a special occasion. A single nail broke after a day (supposed to last 2 weeks) I got to their business right when they opened as their sign states 9:30am to make sure I could get it fixed. The woman told me she had appointments all day and could not take me (her sign also says walk ins welcome) I politely asked how long a single nail could take to fix since there was no one else there yet. She again told me she couldn’t take me. As I walked out she LOCKED THE DOOR!! I sat in the parking lot waiting to see if her appointment showed up in the chances I might still be able to get it fixed. When no one showed up I went up to the door again. It was now 9:50 twenty minutes after they are supposed to be open. The door is still locked. She sees me and cracks it open like I’m not supposed to be there. I asked her politely again since there were no customers if she could please fix my nail. She again told me no and there was nothing she could do. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE! I feel that she saw me as someone she couldn’t make money off of and a waste of her time. Truly a terrible way to treat your customers!

They do an okay job. I went here for 2 years bc it is closest to my house. My polish was chipped after a day or two so I started bringing my own products. I stopped going altogether because the woman who owns the place is unpleasant and it trickles down to the whole place. It’s unfortunate bc the other people who work there are really lovely and do great work. If rudeness in every sentence doesn’t bother you, you’ll be okay here. The atmosphere is just too ugly for me.

This was the first nail place I went to since moving here as it was the closest location to my home. I even had an appointment scheduled and had to wait. My nails were rushed, poorly executed and just sloppy. I thought the employees were very rude. Will definitely recommend other nail salons and will not be coming back. Hopefully a better store will come along and replace this one.

I took my 2 and 4 year old nieces to Tipsy Nails for a pedicure. They had the best time! Everyone was so professional, and the facility was very clean. The owner made sure everything was on point!
