Staff was very friendly but service was not good. I left with really sloppy nails. My cuticles weren’t cleaned up or pushed back so they just looked really messy. When she was placing the tips I asked her to redo them because they looked really crooked and she just said she could fix that with the acrylic. When she placed the acrylic she never fixed it and they still looked crooked. I had asked for an almond shape but the shape looked horrible. One of them smudged while getting them done and she never went back to fix it. would have asked them to be redone but didn’t have time to sit there for another hour and wait for a new nail tech to fix them. I paid $50 for these nails and had to take them off when I got home because they looked so bad. I went with my sister this day and her nails looked amazing so I’m assuming the nail tech that did mine was a beginner. I would suggest asking for someone who specializes in acrylics if going here.

I just got my nails done here today. Removal of an old set and a full set. I was not happy with the service. The lady that helped me was so ROUGH removing my old set now may nails hurt they(even the owner) couldn’t find the color I chose. She did do a good job with removing my cuticle but that was $5. One of the nail tips was placed so crooked, I let her know but she didn’t fix it. All she would tell me is “later, I fix later” I told her over and over again that the nails were misshapen. And then when I get home the nails from the opposite hand were not the same length.

I love the way my manicure came out but my pedicure is horrible. I went just five days ago and my toes look ugly as hell first of all the lady didn’t even cut any of the extra skin around my nails or didn’t even cut my toenails I had to do it myself right now but before I mess it up I’m going to go to my usual nail shop which they only charge $14 I don’t need no damn expensive massage

I started going here after a few bad experiences with La Vie nails on Plaza. The gals here at Tips and Toes are super sweet and do a great job. This is my third visit, and I’ve been happy every time.

I was soo unsatisfied with the work i went in with a nail set and ask for a fill . i had 3 nails that i needed repair which i couldnt believe cost 5$ each .. Critical: Quality, ValueI got my nails done yesterday and they’re already chipped. I gave two stars anyways because my lady was so sweet and the customer service was perfect. My cuticles weren’t cut, the skin around my nails were left alone, and again.. it was less than 24 hrs and my manicure chipped off. I got the most expensive pedicure option which included a “10 min Swedish foot massage” and didn’t get that. But again, my lady was super sweet and really nice so I just brushed that off. I’ve been here a few times now and I’m always just disappointed but I have no idea where else to go to!! I’m a San Diego newbie so I’m torn. I got my nails done yesterday and they’re already chipped. I gave two stars anyways because my lady was so sweet and the customer service was perfect. My cuticles weren’t cut, the skin around my nails were left alone, and again.. it was less than 24 hrs and my manicure chipped off. So i came here while on vacation in San Diego and me and my sister and I got a pedicure and manicure here. first off they took about 45 min to even get started on us ok understandable it was busy. I haven’t done my nails in years so for mother’s day I decided to treat myself and get my nails done. The lady that did my nails was nice, but I was not satisfied with how the nails came out. I feel like she didn’t take her time to finished them. Another customer came in and she moved on leaving me alone under the light while she started doing the other persons nails. Underneath my acrylic nail you can see that it is not clean and there was still some of that acrylic powder thing still stuck to my skin. I know I might not know a lot about the process because I’m not a regular customer, but come on. This nails look bad. Never coming back here again.

Well in less than a week i enf up paying 67 and im not done yet same hr supposly they fixed it a had to ho back ehy?
