Critical: Professionalism, QualityI just came to this salon for the first time. I made the appointment a couple of days ago and at that time asked how much it would be for a refill and gel manicure. The woman told me $45. It’s a little more than I’ve normally paid, but the other reviews were so positive I figured it was worth a try. I always get an almond shape and it’s what I walked through the door having. As she filed she blessed me with one of the worst cuts I’ve ever gotten at a nail salon. I squealed it hurt so bad and I was bleeding. After she was done filling, I realize she made my right hand way longer than the left. When I first said something she argued they weren’t….it took two more times asking for her to file them shorter. Now the finale. When I’m finally done an hour and a half later, she says that will be $50. I explained when I made my appointment I asked and was told $45. She went on to give me the reason “it’s because the shape of the nail I have”. I was like really? I always get this shape and in all the years getting my nails done have never been charged more to get a simple almond shape. I could never excuse this kind of up-charge, but for the record, the quality of the shape isn’t nearly good enough to do so. I was furious and still am honestly. I am angry I even paid. I just came to this salon for the first time. I made the appointment a couple of days ago and at that time asked how much it would be for a refill and gel manicure. The woman told me $45. It’s a little more than I’ve normally paid, but the other reviews were so positive I figured it was worth a try. I always get an almond shape and it’s what I walked through the door having. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went twice to this nail salon and had Julie for a regular manicure, she was awesome and the experience was excellent. I booked her for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was even more pleased with the second visit, the stone massage and scrub on my leg! was Devine!! I never felt rushed and the experience was excellent. Julie spent a lot of time on detail and i will be going many times more to her. I went twice to this nail salon and had Julie for a regular manicure, she was awesome and the experience was excellent. I booked her for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was even more pleased with the second visit, the stone massage and scrub on my leg! was Devine!! I never felt rushed and the experience was excellent. Julie spent a lot of time on detail and i will be going many times more to her. You will not be disappointed!

For the last 2 years I have been trying new salons here and there that were closer to my home, but none of them matched up. I found the quality of service to be extremely inconsistent and over-priced for a lack luster job. I pretty much accepted that I’d be driving an hour (to and from) to get my nails done from here on out… until I stumbled upon this gem which is Tips & Toes. This place is not only adorable, but it’s immaculate inside. The women who work there are so incredibly sweet and genuine. I’ve been there a total of 5 times now and each and EVERY time my manicure and my pedicure have exceeded my expectations. They take their time, they’re thorough, they’re meticulous, and extremely consistent with their service + they offer a free neck massage while your nails are drying. I can see why some may think the prices are a little higher, but for level of service and attention you’re getting, it’s totally worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!I absolutely love this place! For the last 2 years I have been trying new salons here and there that were closer to my home, but none of them matched up.
