RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE for no reason!! It was my first time there, I probably should’ve asked the price upfront but I honestly didn’t think it would cost $200 for a manicure with acrylics and a pedicure. I know it’s hard to find nail salons that satisfy your wants a 100% but this just didn’t make sense. Rent must be HIGH or something. Honestly speaking, the service they gave me I could’ve gotten elsewhere for a much cheaper price. I didn’t find/see anything special about their service otherwise, the overcharge would make sense. I wish they would’ve told me my total ahead of time but I guess it’s my fault for not asking too. In the breakdown of the total cost, she mentioned $20 for cuticles which is crazy (that’s normally included with the manicure as far as I know). That was one of the things that stood out to me, but at the time my mind was disturbed from the bad news I received over the phone. Plus there’s really no point of going back & forth after getting their service. But overall, they do a good JOB, I just don’t think their prices are REASONABLE!! The prices listed at the salon needs to be updated for sure. I was really SHOCKED when paying.

Thank you so much Tippi’s for my perfect nail experience today!! I am a model and I’ve been searching for the best nail salon to keep my hands photoshoot ready. My search is over! Their appointment only policy allows them to devote their undivided attention to you so you leave feeling and looking like a star. They properly removed the shoddy work of another salon and replaced it with beautiful nails. They actually took care of my cuticles and hang nails, which is a major pet peeve of mine. I WILL BE BACK AND IM TELLING EVERYBODY TO SCHEDULE AN APPT WITH TIPPI’S.

This is super disappointing because I did like my manicure and my tech was good, but the overcharging in this place is out of control and borderline unethical. I got basic French acrylics with chrome top coat. It was $140 before tip. I was in shock so I paid and even tipped but now Ive had a chance to think about it and I feel really upset. They charged me an extra $20 for the shape (which is an insane price for shaping) but even more insane is the extra $40 they charged me for chrome dust. I’ve gotten chrome many other places and there has never even been a charge for it. The entire container of chrome powder doesnt cost close to $40 and I used maybe 1/100th of it and was charged the price of an entire other manicure for it. They also charge $20 extra to do your cuticles and they charge extra for the gel top coat for acrylics which is absurd because that’s literally part of the manicure. I regret not saying anything when I was charged. Super disappointing. Also the salon was not clean and they weren’t wiping down stations in between people. They also didn’t even apply lotion or massage my hands at the end which is pretty standard at every nail salon I’ve EVER been to. I’m just stunned. Overcharging to this degree is borderline unethical and I’m feeling super ripped off! UPDATE: the owner has responded but I can’t reply so I’ll edit this. He said I didn’t get a hand massage because I didn’t get a manicure. What did I pay $140 for then? That’s a joke. Also, chrome powder is not considered a “design” even for amateurs. And for the record, cheap nails are $40 for acrylics. They charged $100 more for that and didn’t do half the services other places do. I have had people reach out to me and tell me that this place also has written in or changed tip amounts too. Super scammy, I would stay far away!!!
