I have been coming here for a few years now and the owner and her entire family have always been very polite to me and taken me at a moment’s notice. She actually stopped my nail biting problem of 40 years because after she did my nails they looked great and I didn’t want to mess them up. I love how well she does manicures and pedicures. I’ve even been there when I knew she had plans with her family and people came in right before closing and she stayed to take care of them. I highly recommend them they are very friendly and treat you like family

This place is under new management. It was okay. The new owner and staff were super friendly!. I loved my pedicure however I cannot say the same about my gel manicure nor eyebrows wax. I had to clean up polish off my cuticles when I got home. The polish started lifting up after a week. I will update my review if I see improvement in my gel manicure and eyebrows.

Went in about an hour before close, around 6, of course I called the owner ahead of time. I went in and a new nail tech was there she said let him do you nails I said no problem. He was horrible. About 7:30 he started to paint my nails… he did 3 coats and sat me to dry my nails. The owner rushing to get me out charged me and gave me the receipt it hit my pinky nail and he had to fix it… when I went to dry them the time wasn’t long enough since he put 3 coats and my nail ended up smudging again. He got frustrated and said he’s only doing 2 coats on that nail. I said no take the color completely off all the nails and do 2 coats again. He got mad, rushed & left. The owners husband came to pick her up and began questioning me asking me what the problem was? Keep in mind the whole time I was there the owner and this tech were talking their language. If I’m paying for something I should’ve get the service requested. The nails lasted about 4 days before breaking and chipping. Cheap quality with horrible customer service. No wonder this place is always empty. Never going back!

I had been going to a nail salon in Newington. A friend of mine said she loved tip top nails in Wethersfield. I went a month ago and loved my pedicure and especially my gel nails and I couldn’t be more happy. Tran is an artist in her own right. She took her time with the pedicure and gel nails. Today I went back for the pedicure and UV fill. She is amazing along with her husband. They make you feel comfortable and satisfied. I have been to other nail salons but by far Tip Top is the best.

Very sad experience… after being a customer for more than one year the owner asked me to never come back to get my nails done there, because I asked her to fix my nail… I always thought there was something wrong about this place because it’s empty all the time, and finally understood. Probably I’m not the only person who has been asked not to come back. The owner was very rude to me.
