I decided to try out this salon as I’m new to the area and It had a lot of good reviews. Of course I ended up getting what I believe was a new nail tech. He was a younger white male and barely said a word during my service. Started with a pedicure and when It came to the leg massage he only massaged half my leg. Disappointing because we all know the leg massage is the best part. I was also there to celebrate my birthday which was communicated. When It came time to pick out the color, I wanted French with light sparkles over top. He brought me two sparkle colors that were opaque and I didn’t want him to have to run back and forth to accommodate me so I just decided to nix the French and do the gold glitter. Glad I did because the color he offered would have covered up the French and It would have been a waste. He also did my nails with the same color but didn’t paint the color on evenly so most of my nails feel bumpy which is super annoying. Between the pedicure and manicure I would say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I rarely get my nails done and of course the one time I decided to treat myself and spend $97 with tip, I’m not satisfied. If I ever come back here I will ask for someone more experienced.

Based on an enthusiastic recommendation from a stranger when I complemented her nails, I’ve recently tried Tina Nails & Spa for the first time. I was sooo pleased with my services and the outcome. Brian did my pedicure and I appreciated his careful attention to detail; painting the ‘ends’ of my toe nails, asking if the shape was to my liking before painting, and gladly tweaking a few things when I asked without making a face or seeming to be put out… he was professional, curtious and did a great job. My SNS and artwork was done by Mr. Dan. He was so welcoming to the idea of doing ‘artwork’ and not put out at all. He carefully and diligently picked out the paint colors to make my fall leaf ask so beautiful. He did such a great job- he’s a very talented artist as well as nail technician. He was careful with my nails and gentle and cared about the health of my nails. He was open to a conversation about one of my fears and past bad experiences being when my nails are just pulled off and not soaked off. He assured me that wouldn’t happen there and they would be done the way I wanted them to be… even if it took extra time. I’ve received so many compliments on my nails… and I’ll definitely be going back. Thank you to the great team at Tina’s!
