Tina and all her colleagues are wonderfully talented and kind. They are also incredible at remembering faces. I came here with an interval of 6 months and I was shocked to see that Tina remembered me and what I had told her last time. additionally I found they are really flexible. For example, asked for a simple nail art and not only were they willing to try, i am delighted with the results. A perfect neighbourhood spot with friendly vibes and great values.

It breaks my heart to leave this review. Today is my day off. I got up early for my 10am scheduled manicure booked with Tina. I arrived 10 minutes early. Tina was in the middle of working on another customer. Emily sat down in front of me and I said, “Oh, my appointment is with Tina.” Tina, sitting next to Emily, said she couldn’t do my appt but Emily could. They told me they could not work on my cuticles and that they didn’t have time to do a massage of my hands. Emily seemed upset and tense. My appt was to have my acrylic nails removed and then to get a regular manicure (it was my first experience with acrylic nails and I didn’t know that having a regular manicure was not a good idea so soon after the removal of acrylic nails – I found out later the same morning when I spent $100 at TLC Nails to have my nails repaired from the damage Tina Nails had done). Emily began sanding the acrylic off my nails and pulled a chunk of acrylic off one nail. It was very clear that she was rushing. I asked that the tips of my nails be rounded and made a bit shorter. When Emily finished, my nails were all different lengths, grossly lumpy, rough and terribly uneven. Emily got up and Tina sat down to apply the nail Polish. I asked Tina if she could please take some time to make my nails even. She seemed perturbed and tense. I was at the point of almost crying. I finally asked Tina what I owed for the services provided to me at that point. She told me I owed nothing. I left a tip for Emily. My morning was ruined. It was a truly AWFUL experience. By the way, I believe I was the only white person in Tina’s shop. The other customers were Asian. I’ll never ho back.

I found Tina Nails online and based on their wonderful reviews I decided to give them a try as a walk in. They fit me in for a pedicure and the service was clean, friendly, and my toes looked great for 4 weeks! I could have gone longer but I needed my nails done. I had let a friend talk me into trying acrylic nails at a different nail salon… big mistake. While Ivy worked on my toes and was so patient while I decided on a nail color (biggest decision of my life), Jimmy worked on getting my acrylics off. I didn’t realize that taking them off was so difficult! It really upset me because at the other salon I had requested dip nails and they talked me out of it saying acrylic was easier and better. Jimmy explained that had I done dip, I would have been able to soak my nails off the same way gel polish is soaked off, but he was so kind and careful not to cause me any pain as he removed my nails. He and Tina both suggested a healing gel polish for my brittle nails to give them time to heal. All the while my toes were looking fabulous. I really appreciated the detail Ivy gave to trimming my cuticles and the time she put into my massage (which is the best part of the service for this mama! haha). I booked my next 3 appointments with them already and I plan on being a loyal customer to Tina Nails from this point on. Thank you so much for your kind, clean, fabulous service.
