The workers didn’t speak English. I just wanted a simple white acrylic Fullset … The lady drilled my nails so hard and I tried to tell her stop but she didn’t understand English enough so I had to speak Spanish (I’m Jamaican) but I noticed she wasn’t skilled enough to do a quality set so I stayed quiet the whole time leaving my nails crooked. I saw another client had to keep yelling at the pedicure guy because he couldn’t understand her either… my nails started lifting as soon as I left the shop.. if you are not expecting perfect nails than you can come here, but if you know quality then you won’t be happy coming here.

It’s unfortunate, my first experience was terrible. Then I started going to Maria & that made it easier to keep going, because she’s great. I just moved to Miami and it’s the closest place to where I live. I’m an actress and business owner and have to do my nails often. Because of my busy schedule, I schedule my appointments ahead of time. What’s unfortunate, is that techs schedule appointments separate from the actual establishment, causing conflict with scheduling and appointments… and of course, the customer is left waiting for over an hour, maybe more. Luckily, things worked out this time around. I’ll still go to Maria as long as I can.

And she kept cutting my skin. Meanwhile I’m sitting there with my feet in an empty bowl not soaking. Eventually I was placed with an older man who knew what he was doing. He did a great job.

Worst place to get nails done. Got them on a Saturday and by Monday it looked like my nails were 2 weeks old. There were air bubbles by the cuticle line and had started lifting- they looked so bad. I went back to speak with the owner and he said he could drill but I would then need a refill and would have to pay for it – because my nails had grown (in 2 days). Not very friendly either. This place used to be so much better and cleaner when Tina was the owner! Right now they don’t even have cotton to remove nail polish from the edges of the nail – the tech literally used a piece of paper towel.
