Wish I could support this place. It’s not every day you see a new barber come onto the scene. Sad truth is, he doesn’t work when his hours say he’s open. I have called and tried to come in on multiple occasions over the last few months and the shop is almost always empty and locked up. No one answers the phone. I’m not sure where he is or what he does but I’ll need to find a barber that is reliable

Said I just wanted the sides and back cleaned up, and do not to touch the font/ bangs, and restated it before starting. The gentleman kept cutting and cutting. Started cutting the top and went right for the bangs. Thought he was about to thinning it out a little and ends up cut an 1 1/2 inches off. (No point in stopping him now, damage is already done) I told him after I ask him not to touch the front at all, I liked the length and was growing it out. He said he “forgot” left it at that and still charged full price. Now I have to deal with a cut I don’t like for the next several months (6 months plus) before I can do anything with it. Attention to detail is key. There’s not an undo button with hair.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy son just had his hair highlighted. He needed a trim and went to this place. They shaved the majority of his hair off. He told the guy to stop cutting and the guy continued to cut. My son came home in tears.There is no fixing this until his hair grows back out. Paid $115 for highlights that are mostly gone. I have been going to this barber shop for over a year. Dave is great. He is a very capable barber, nice guy, good to talk with. I find his attention to detail great including a straight razor trim at the end with warm shaving cream. I very rarely write reviews. High praise for quality and value. Haircuts are $16 so tip generously.

I’ve been on the hunt for a great barber shop since moving here four years ago. Most “Barber Shops” in the cities lack the attention to detail and specific skills that I’ve come to expect from traditional shops back east. Thankfully, I discovered 10th Avenue Barbers last weekend. Dave and Tim, a father-son combo, were welcoming from the moment I opened the door. Both are traditionally trained barbers with a keen eye for fades and beard trims. Perfect! I barely had to describe what I wanted and was in and out of the chair within 30 minutes. The end result was a great haircut and beard trim, straight razor and all, for just over $20 with a tip. If you’re looking for a good fade/shape-up/beard trim, look no further. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
