Tic Tac Nails

Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI am so glad I took a chance and went to Tic Tac Nails. Now I’m super picky about my nails. The acrylic has to be applied neatly with no bumps and the nails filed down neatly and even. I also want to switch it up and get my nails shaped in different ways instead of always square or coffin shaped. I usually wait til I’m near where my mom resides to go to a nail salon on Telegraph & 9 mile where I only let 1 lady touch my nails because everyone else seems to always get complaints from the other techs. Well I needed a fill in like over a week ago. Due to the other people requesting the same lady at the other nail salon, I waited 2 hrs and still could not get my nails done the past weekend. So I was going to try Angel Nails across the street from Tic Tac; even called around 5:30 to ask if they were still open until 8. When I arrived at about 6:30, it was pitch black. I guess because of the snow and slow business, they decided to leave. So I low & behold Tic Tac still had their “open” sign on. Only 2 techs were there. A lady (forget her name) who was so engaging, was doing the feet and nails of another customer. Quan did my nails and to my pleasant surprise, did an awesome job. He was very meticulous about shaping them and getting rid of any excess acrylic underneath tip or around cuticles. They turned out wonderful. They also were so kind to my 5 yr old daughter. Some shops won’t even allow kids and Thai makes it very difficult for me to keep my nails done. The lady painted my daughter’s nails and my daughter couldn’t stop smiling. She does a great job on nails also as the other customer there showed me her nails as did I. The prices are pretty good as well compared some others in the area.I plan on going back in a couple days or so for my feet. With it being right up the street from my apartment, I plan on being a regular. Oh, and their hours are fantastic. They stay open til 8 and are even open on Sundays til 5. They will be closed on Tuesdays starting February. But hey, they need a day off too; especially during this crazy pandemic.Thank you so much Tic Tac Nails & Quan for taking me and taking great care and time to do an amazing job on my nails.
