Thunder Nails and Spa

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI don’t understand why this place has 4 1/2 stars, if I could give it zero stars I would. My friend and I went to this establishment 7/26 only because our regular salon was closed. Wearing a perpetual frown and not at all friendly, the man who did my pedicure communicated by grunts, one syllable words, pointing and heavy sighs. He did not ask me what type of pedicure I wanted just gave me the basic service and that was poorly done. He messed up my pinky toe by shoving on my flip flop and I had to tell him it needed to be fixed. My friend had a dip manicure and the woman who helped her was on her phone most of the time. I don’t understand why this place has 4 1/2 stars, if I could give it zero stars I would. My friend and I went to this establishment 7/26 only because our regular salon was closed. Wearing a perpetual frown and not at all friendly, the man who did my pedicure communicated by grunts, one syllable words, pointing and heavy sighs. He did not ask me what type of pedicure I wanted just gave me the basic service and that was poorly done. Critical: CleanlinessI would NOT recommend. I moved to this area so I tried out thunder nails because it was close to my house. I bought a pedicure and a full set of acrylics. A couple weeks later, I went to a different salon by my house because some of my nails were breaking off. The new place said a needed a full set. I said I just received a full set about two weeks ago. He told me again that I needed a new set, and he tried to show me why. He noticed that they were all coming loose. So I agreed to a full set. When he was removing them, he showed me the nail fungus on my nails that I got from thunder nails. I am posting the two worse ones. I also got athletes foot from the pedicure. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueTina is amazing at nails and one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met! I’ve loved my nails every time she’s done them! I will not go anywhere else!
