We spend our time educating ourselves and clients to feel their very best in whatever way suits them best. We meet you where you are, to give you not only what you need to survive, but to Thrive. We are a team of 6 hair stylists, 3 estheticians and 2 nail techs who have come together to create beauty in the lives of our clients. Our bridal team serves an average of 100 brides per year and we excel in natural, beautiful, wedding makeup that is polished without being overly done.

Lauren is an absolute angel!! She’s a wizard with hair. I came to her with purple hair from another salon back in Kansas City, very nervous it would turn out horrible like the last two people I had seen in IL. She matched it perfectly and blended it so well. Today, it was time for my visit with her and I wanted a chop and back to my natural brown. She did it and made it look better than I could have ever imagined! If you need hair or makeup services, please see her!! I signed a contract with Thrive Salon and Spa in December for my wedding in May. I paid my deposit and had my hair and makeup trial two weeks before the wedding. I confirmed the date and time that me and my bridesmaids would arrive for our hair and makeup at the trial. On the day of the wedding, everyone arrived at the salon to locked doors. We could not get ahold of anyone from the salon. We waited half an hour before we had to make alternate emergency plans. We were only contacted by the makeup artist, who believed that there was a single appointment two hours later than originally planned. I was never contacted back by the salon. I did receive my deposit back after I requested it. However, the salon did not maintain their end of the contract that we signed, and I was forced to make alternate emergency plans for my bridesmaids and me the morning of the wedding without any assistance from the salon. I would not recommend Thrive Salon and Spa for your wedding hair or makeup. They completely ghosted us on the day of, which created an unnecessary stressful morning before my wedding.

Not only just the day of the appointment but what I wanted for my hair in the future. She showed me color examples before we did anything to my hair so I knew what color I would be getting. I told her I had bad experiences in the past with my hair so when we started cutting she did it 1 inch at a time so that we didn’t do too much at once, which I really appreciated.She also did hair and make up for a wedding that I was in and did an awesome job! I loved the hair style and make up so much that I asked her to do hair and make up for my wedding as well. She has gone over the top with accommodations since our wedding fell in the midst of all the COVID stuff happening.I highly recommend Lauren or anyone that is a part of her team.
