My barber was closed and the salon down the way seemed open and I like to support local small businesses. After being greater by the employee, I asked if she was accepting walk-ins tonight. She responded she could not so I thanked her and pet the adorable dog that had approached me before leaving. The customer getting her hair washed rudely said “a walk-in hair appointment on a Friday night?!? That’s crazy!” The employee agreed – both speaking as if I was no longer in the room. Enough not to give this local small business a second chance.
